The BLM problem is... all the DPS jobs will jump on them asap. They're like a little sheep, a free kill in the Seal Rock.

As soon as blm casts sleep they have a full party of agitated people afflicted with sleep itching to kill them (even over heals) as soon as sleep wears off. Whats funny is that they usually aren't watched over properly and die by the ensuing relentless swarm. Not even smn pick up aggro that fast lol. They are way more annoying than summoners when played by skilled players.

Yes, Smn's and Blm's do massive dmg when played to their strengths, and Blm's are by far the most annoying casters out there with that stupid mass sleep cast.... so what?
I've said it once and I'll say it again: If you have a particular job that harasses you during PvP, embrace your road-rage and murder em' good and proper. Dead things can't hurt you, so organize a hunting party. There's not a caster/ranged class in this game that can't be insta-burned if you know what you're doing and actually have the will to do it. So get on your murder cap, and start scalping yourselves some casters. If you can't manage that, then I recommend looking closer to home for the "problem." -

Yeah, smn is OP at the moment because lots of reasons. But the one that irritates me the most is that ANY idiot can play it and keep spamming deathflare after deathflare. -

Melee, ranged and tanks can usually survive long enough to get healed, and healers usually take care of themselves, but a caster surrounded by enemies is a free kill.Quote:

The real difference between summoner and blm is that blm has to hardcast most of their abilities whereas smn has an off GCD nuke... Isn't that the reason why they nerfed swiftcast? so that blms couldnt instant nuke people with flare? Summoner is not mathematically better than Black Mage, hell it may be worse, its just easier (or seems easier).
