Agreed, though even then sometimes those 3 extra stacks can provide some super burst heals if something went wrong.

It's a pretty lame ability but it's saved my ass enough times for me to stop complaining about it. It does have some very good situational uses.

450 potency damage boost (more with bane) and helps you ration MP in case you are recovering after a double or triple resurrection (using lustrate instead of adlo saves you 1k MP, using indom instead of succor saves you 1.3k MP.) It's also amore noticeable buff towards aoe healing with succor. Works great for fights like sephy that have add phases followed by a long animation to resummon.

When level synced I miss the skill terribly.

Losing your pet's embrace and [whispering dawn if you use Eos] is more healing for 0 MP that you'd lose out on using this skill.

Again, like the spell itself, it's situational. One Indomitability alone will outshine 30 seconds worth of Embrace potency wise. You lose Whispering Dawn but I feel like if you're in a position where you can let everyone tick with a regen you're probably not going to pop Dissipation anyway.

It's not the best CD, but it's also not too difficult to find uses for it. I think people get discouraged too quickly and just dismiss something that is actually a great but situational ability.

I basically only ever touch it in pvp when I'm in a clutch situation.
It's the only thing that comes remotely close to self-survivability that the other healers have when being attacked by multiple combatants.

Yeah I agree. I think it would be great if Dissipation gained an additional effect:

Upon the end of the effect the next Summon or Summon II has no cast time. Duration 10s

Never used it.

I don't often run out of aether stacks. emergency tactics is an amazing skill. which I tend to spam instead of lustrates or indomitables.

and if my mp is getting low then I'll typically burn any remaining charges on energy drains whenever aetherflow is off cooldown. which in some cases can add up to about 6k mp if I haven't used any stacks in the last 60 seconds..

lustrate is insta cast which can be nice, but often it's just as easy to precast emergency tactics and adlo. and save the aether stack.

all in all it's incredibly rare that I find myself desepratly needing stacks or lacking mp. add to that that dissipate doesn't buff lustrate or indom. and dissipate is totally useless

I used it for more lustrates when I was doing A1S progression near the release of savage.

Not used it since though, except for energy drains to do more damage in a burst phase.

Its name implies exactly what it is, a useless wasteful skill for amusement.


Dissipation:
A useless waste of a skill, you would have to be a tool to click this or use it in one of the very few fights of the game.

Lowers Healing by 250 potency over time.

To the people that hate it: Don't use it.

It is our version of PoM. It really helps push the deeps or is rescue this party fodder. You may not think its useful but it fits some SCH's instant reflexive playstyle or can be used strategically if the fight is known well enough.

It could be better, but its not a bad skill.
