It's a top 10 wishlist thing. (kinda anyway) Granted, people have been using it to drop off ideas.

Honestly, what should happen is, when you're idle for 5 minutes or something, your character looks for something nearby to sit on, or just sits down on the ground. Classic games used to have your character do funny things when you leave the game sitting long enough. This should've been common sense for the developers, but I guess people have been missing more of that in the recent years.

1. Normal animations! no more 4 hits whit pugilist when you only do 2 times damage

2. PVP content in instances like a battlegrounds

3. PVE content in instances

4. Auto-attack toogle system (i want to choose when and how auto attack)

5. Auto-jump system (just like Zelda, Ocarina of time)

6. Party based battles.

7. Central city, whit central markets

8. Chocobos!!!!

9. Class rename.

10. Fasters animations on craft

Top 6. NOT that there aren't at least 10 (or 100) things wrong with this game, but just keeping it to the fundamentals

1. More content
- End game - Not expecting XIV to have XI's variety of end-game events 8 months into release, but as long as they're thinking about it
- While leveling - more activities like behest where people can easily group up and get some nice rewards
2. More transportation options (chocobos, airships)
3. Better storyline integration
- When new missions are added they need to reduce the required ranks for the current ones, or have it based on physical level instead. I barely remember what's going on in the story if it's been weeks since the last one.
4. Introduction of advanced/traditional classes

5. Removal or reduction in fatigue penalty
- Has been discussed ad nauseum. If this is an issue of conforming to Chinese regulations about restricting game time, keep the system but increase the thresholds.
6. More transparency about in-game parameters
- This annoyed me in XI as well, but XIV doesn't have the benefit of a thriving wiki/community to theorycraft all this out.
- Why are food buffs hidden?
- Why not make it more obvious what penalty you're receiving my equipping gear of an inappropriate rank/class?
- Why can't there be a symbol indicating whether a synthesis is "magical in nature" or not?
- Stuff like this does not make the game more challenging, just more annoying.

3. Improved battle balance (and fix the slow cumbersome BR)

9. Expand trade to 8 or 10 items
10. This last one isn't actual up to SE but anyways, a comunity that is more constructive and that support eachother more.

When al this is done, expand the world, lore and story, and let the comming danger to eorzea hit hard XD

1. A Party Seeking Indicator
-Granted the party leader posting openings is a nice concept, but it should work in combination with a party seeking function. Makes party formation a whole lot easier.

2. Ability to indicate character role. (DD, Healer, Nuke, etc.) with primary and secondary roles available.

3. Enspells (Needs to be introduced with a new class.....comes after everything else is adjusted.)

4. Shields that don't need to be spammed.
-Honestly, parry doesn't require spamming to work, evade doesn't require spamming to work, why in the world does blocking require spamming?

5. Attribute reassignment that doesn't take days.
-Playing a DoW class, with STR, DEX and VIT
-switch to DoM class, oh look, can only change 40 out of 300+ points every X hours.....guess I'm going to be a crappy mage for a few days.

6. Equipped actions/traits and attributes saved on a per class basis.

7. Mailbox - inter-character relations that don't require standing next to the person, thank you.

8. Removal of the stamina bar
-one cool-down timer is enough, 2 cool-down timers to watch, thanks, but no thanks

9. Auto-Attack
-I am sick of sitting in a battle hitting 1 over and over and over again

10. Higher NPC sell prices - all this loot, yet it's worth zilch, nadda, nothing.

lmao i agree 100% you hit the nail directly on the head
we will not see anything but bullshit updates until they decide if they will be able to get money from this game. Thats what its all about ppl dont get it twisted for 1 sec SE will continue to put this bs about player polls and that the things they are adding is what ppl actually want until they decide to drop the payment bomb back into the equation. Then maybe, maybe they will add something worth seeing, dont get me wrong i like the game but we all know they have the ability to make it what it should have been months ago right now if they want to... they are stretching this crap out to see if they can make money with this or let it die .... ppl dont lie to yourselves, and Square Enix cut the crap!
Now not like it matters but i'd like to see...
1. a mail/house system
2. chocobo's, a large game world is fine if u dont have to traverse it at a slow steady jog
3. for god sakes seperate the gear in to more defined classes "bs glove" best suited to paperboy>bastard child, worn hooker class. class specific gear/artifacts own, if it aint broke dude....
4. since the game came out there is a musketeer guild for what class....... also samurai/ronin class w/e u wanna call it..
5. pc activated instance battles like ksnm/bcnm
6. make the game more party oriented, add content that u simply can not do alone, with rewards that merit ppl actually taking the time to gather and conquer

For now thats all i'll list SE knows whats really needed like i said before they wont add one real improvement till after they drop the free to play aspect of the game.....

QFT. SE's goal is to expand the player base, not appease the small one they have now. The game needs to be more approachable, and the only way to do that is to take market norms, add their own unique spin on things and make a really interesting but fun experience. There's a small vocal minority who just want FFXI-2, and it's obvious that SE doesn't want that. Personally, I don't want that either. I don't want to have to seek for hours to level up, I don't want to wait outside another appolyon-like area to farm chips, I don't want to have to level 10 different classes to 37 to use as support for my primary class. Give me a reason to play this game, aside from "XYZ's pop window is open!!!!1111" We're past 2002, Push for more Instanced, dungeon/raiding content.

i dont at all want a ffxi-2, but at some point completely ignoring what they did to make that cash cow rake in money and gamers for hmmm how many years is crazy..... inovation is fine, great awesome but trying so hard to stay away from the simple aspects that most mmo's know as just solid ground work for this genre is obviously not working. every game that has any gameplay or presentation aspects that are simular to wow are called copy cats but who cares that lable doesnt stop them from being good games..... all i'm saying and i know its cliche' but it just holds true is that if it aint broke dont fix it
