I just wish they would have been more mindful with the 2 month gap between 3.0 launch and the events that happened.
We are wanted men by Ul'dah so they should have played into that while we wait for our asylum request from Ishgard for the next two months.
1) Walking around in the wild, a chance FATE should happen with Ul'dah assassins attacking us, even in the streets of the major cities.
2) Entering Ul'dah or even Reverant's Toll, we should have hooded robe costumes on us to show we are trying to lay low while in the cities.
3) The Brass Blades and Flames should be fighting in the street since Ul'dah would be plunged into Civil War after those events.

I agree it makes no sense for the game which is what annoys me. The brass blades/crystal braves were perfectly willing to come after me AND all the scions together but now they just ignore me when I walk around Ul'dah with impunity stirring up the people against them, which you bet is what I would be doing.
No, the suspension of disbelief that requires is just too much...and yes, I know it's a fantasy game but I still expect it to make sense:)
It's probably been said already, but..
Thancred's English VA was on a pod cast recently, and if I remember correctly, he said he was signed through out the upcoming expansion?
So, it could mean Thancred is dead but the VA voices someone else. Or maybe Thancred is dead, but we see stuff through the echo? Or maybe something to do with Ascians. Or he's not at all dead.
Which gives me hope for the others as well.
And I was also hoping for something like.. being occasionally attacked in the streets of Ul'dah or something. But, the story is already a lot more than what I thought it would have been.
Having just finished 2.55
1: Knew I would be framed for killing someone (thought it would be Alleane) as soon as I acquired the poisoned vial. (thanks for the heads up Momodi you traitor!)
2: Not being able to respond when being arrested seemed wrong. I am a Dragoon, I am the Crimson Lance. I am the Warrior of Light. Do you think 4 plebians could take me? Ha!
3: What's up with epic NPC fights? If you are going to remove us from playing, at least give us cool fight moves too.
4: There are so many plot-holes in this storyline, Stephen Hawking wants a word with the writers.
5: If my best friend told me to "go" I would not. I would stay and beat face until I died.
6: Are we going to completely ignore all the plot holes? Seriously? I kept banging my head against my desk.
7: Then you add the Ascians to what? Get me hyped up over new future stuff? I could really care less. The one person who had knowledge on how to beat them, you already killed them off or did you forget?
8: This feels like a shitty ending for book 2, like when a season for a show ends and it is left on a (bad guys win) cliff hanger. It's tedius and let's face it, predictable.
9: Why would I go north? The badguys are in Uldah. Trust me. You give me a few days to call up some of my FREE COMPANY friends and we will steam roll all over those brass blades.
10: speaking of Canon, is this story before or after Turn 13, cus you know.. >,> If 8 players can beat Final Coil. You really think Uldah can beat us?
/end of rant? No not really but im too tired to care. Great job with the animations. ENG voice could do a bit of work. story: yeah no. im not upset on the contents. just how it was delivered. and that ruined it for me.

In general I was impressed with everything that they pulled, I didn't expect a lot of that to happen (Well, Nanamo has had red flags for months), but one thing really bugged me...
Are our characters really supposed to be that weak and powerless...and well, stupid? It was obvious something was up and yet they walked right into the trap and when the shit hits the fan they're taken captive and chased off by...Brass Blades and Crystal Braves? Seriously? I know technically we haven't been defeating Primals and Garleans and such on our own, but it kinda pisses me off to see my character, a woman who has defeated Bahamut, being handcuffed and thrown to the ground like some lowly NPC without putting up any fight or trying to help the Scions. It's just frustrating.
Also, kinda sad they didn't set up the Au'Ra more. Yugiri just sort of appears, you look shocked for a moment then everyone moves on. I was kind of expecting at least a little set-up as to why Eorzea is going to be crawling with them come Heavensward suddenly, when they've been absent thus far.
Well keep in mind that...
We did have our big mother crystal (whatever her name is) powers removed by the evil dragon and before you say "but the trial fight...." we did use some heavy weaponry and reinforcements to kill it.
I agree with everyone that my character isn't weak. I'm i120, I think I could do more than sit and look sad.

I thought our weakness was from whatever Midgardsormr did to us. Story wise, we haven't done a lot from between when he did that to us, and to this point. And everything we had done up to this point might have been from weak fumes left behind.
I'm probably over looking something though.

Overall, the story was create but the aftermath of what happened just doesn't sit right with me. I just escaped from Ul'dah now in Coerthas then i just stroll back into Ul'dah as if nothing happened. Its funny i tried speak with the Brass Blades and Crystal Braves in Mor Dhona and one said "Oh im not allowed to take you in because of people around and can't fight in town". It would be better if at random points Brass Blades or Crystal Braves attack you randomly in Ul'dah territory. Right now it just seems a bit immersion breaking :/ But still good story. Also why the heck can Brass Blades and Crystal Braves take me down? That is just weird to me. I have killed Bahamut Prime, Primals and fought Midgardsormr but a few Brass Blades and Crystal Braves can handcuff me and put me to the floor. Ok SE ok.
