Kicked from raid team due to colorblind

Incoming video of someone doing the fight in greyscale...
-No but serious, this guy is making excuses. The tethers look different, and even if you were full blown colorblind, the greyscale patterns would be different.
-Alternatively just adjust the HUE on your monitor/tv and just memorize the new colors in correlation to true names.

Its not the disability I have a problem with, its those whom don't use any imagination or ingenuity to improve oneself disabled or not, instead just cry fix please.

Giving a friendly request to a developer to include a colorblind mode for this reason is respectable. Stop buying into what OP said. The tethers in T11 is Blue and Green, not Red and Green. I'm colorblind too, no issues with it

How do you know it's hard? Have you done it? This is honestly a really pathetic post, someone is blatantly caught out being dishonest but you are defying logic to find reasons to keep him in the right. Is it the fact that they were kicked from a static that really offends you, are you just determined to support the underdog no matter what? At least be honest with why you're making excuses for him.

They have a colorblind mode, its the visual indicators. They received complaints about the last raid and made really obvious efforts to make sure colorblind players will have no issues in this one. The players I actually know who are good and colorblind had no issues in this raid, many such players posted in this thread to say the same thing. Nothing but incompetence stops you from telling the tethers apart, keep defending the indefensible though.

Well, how we do it, Blue goes left of the boss, the other to the right. All team leader had to do was say for you to go left or right, as there is plenty of time between bethered tethered to the boss and the tethers linking you together for someone to tell you in voice. Just stand out a bit from the tail when tethers are due so easier to note what color you have as the tail can obscure XD If just 1 tether, we stay behind the boss.

Not timed it, but it must be around 5 seconds from being tethered to the boss till being tethered together.

Green and Red are two colours commonly used together, I am not sure they would change them but probably edit them to make them more easily distinguishable like garuda. They could also go the route UK traffic lights have gone (i say UK because I dunno if they do it everywhere or not) where the green light has a blue tone in it so drivers with colourblindness can distinguish it from red

I have a few opinions to this matter...

1st of all I would love SE to think about colorblind players and add some colorblind option to every encounter. But that wouldn't be as easy as it sounds because even normal players could use it for their advantage and switch to colorblind mode (if colorblind mode offered something which would make the encounter easier) and coil might become easier than it is.

2nd thing would be to find a normal coil raid without selfish bastards who would call it out on Teamspeak, it really isn't that hard or time consuming (to call it out) at all.

That's kinda where my problem lies, personally. I can't distinguish colors when they're together (and close in hue) the white circles (pre-2.5) on the icy floor, for example I couldn't see at all, orange on red, I can't see, grey on black etc. I'm sure you get the point. It's extremely rare in females, but yeah, dat bad-luck lottery. It didn't come to me through an illness though. SE IS slowly working to alleviate it, but I can understand the OP's frustration, as I'm sure you can relate to as well, there's a large difference with not clearing something due to skill, vs not clearing it due to a handicap you can't control. I think the best thing they could do is allow us to set our own graphical color-settings much like we can do with nameplates. But this is most likely a larger issue and may not be possible
