i can imagine it being quite handy for DoL classes out on a farming spree. that also acts as a quick ride home!

My wish from SE:
I want you to be able to raise your own chocobo.
Taking care of it.
Train it to gain higher speed, longer riding-time, easier to find items while digging, and be able to give it color and armour.

Later on I would also like a Chocobo Knight job, and a racing job.

Don't mean to be rude or anything but this is not even remotely related to the question asked in this thread... He wasn't asking what the benefits of doing grand company quests were... he wanted to know more about the personal chocobo system as in can we raise them or do we just buy them once and keep them forever.

If you wanted to be vague about that you could have said something in the lines of "Personal Chocobos can get quite personal" or something like that... Instead of saying something really off topic but thx anyways for the effort.

He could have been saying that as you do quests the chocobo gets things, like the armour, abilitys or faster anything.

It would be nice if we could make gear for our own chocobos. That would be nice to see and participate in as well. However, I am more than happy to be able to ride them. Anima would finally have time to replenish.

• Rental and Personal Chocobos will have different appearances and different background music.

That’s about it. Since Personal Chocobos will become the basis of the Mount System, they have no recast timers and no riding time restrictions. However, they can be attacked by powerful monsters.

Interesting. Although small bummer I can't use my choco to reach areas I have never been before (due to dangerous mobs). Oh well, still happy for chocos.
