Good point, this would be a great way to introduce players summoning primals into the game. I'm just not sure if Yoshi-p still wants to bring that into the game. I just personally can't see how it'd work well into the current system unless they introduce open world raid level bosses popped like treasure maps. Allowing you to show off that you currently hold control over Ifrit/Titan/etc.

I don't think we'd end up being able to summon the primals themselves, since, you know, the whole tempering thing, and the trying to destroy them permanently thing, and the massive drain on aether thing... doesn't really tie with the story very well. But you never know, they'll probably find a way to do it.

I don't want to get too carried away with theories, but I'd say it'd be more likely to summon some lesser 'primal' or maybe one of the twelve - even then it'll probably be story-related (i.e. one-off). Or maybe a new class specific SMN LB?

Players summoning Primals isn't really a theory so much as it is a lost piece of content. Way back when(tm) Primal summoning was one of the purported big changes from 1.x to 2.0. Where Free Companies would be able to capture and summon Primals as a single use ability. I believe the most recent mention of it was when Yoshi-P was commenting about using them in Frontlines as a tide-turner. Though I believe I heard that second hand, so that may not have been correct. Either way, player primal summoning is definitely something that has been on their minds for a while.

Well, as long as the story keeps changing...

So far we were explained the process how a primal is resummoned and why they never truly die, we have king mog who is a newly created primal and we have ascians granting mere mortals the power of the echo, if they come up with a way to summon primals through the echo the issue with tempering would be solved.

I'm more interested in the extra soul crystal slot they are adding to the Armoury Chest maybe they'll let us level up our job stone or have a job stone for crafting

I think everyone (well, mostly everyone) is pretty sure that extra slot is for ninja. The addition brings the total to 10.

God, I hope Shiva fight is more epic like Levi Extreme instead of something like Ramuh Extreme. To me, Ramuh Extreme was the worst primal fight, not because of difficulty but more frustration and too many instant kill mechanic and how he just stand there and hit incredibly hard with his lightning bolts.

So far the best Primals is Titan Extreme, Levi Extreme, and Gilgamesh. Ramuh Extreme was the worst of them all and most boring, follow by Moogle Extreme.

Gilgamesh isn't a primal. He's just a Trial.

I could not find that Download on the Lodestone. Looks awesome though!
