Dudes, quit yer whinin' about our whinin'. If we can't moan about things we can't control to each other, who are we gonna moan to? Hubby is totally unsympathetic to my gaming (or not-gaming) woes.

I for one was also in Garuda HM when we all got dropped, and yes, was extremely mad about it, but considering the scope of the hacking going on, I can accept the reason they dropped all of us so early from the scheduled maintenance time. I guess I'll just have to help rage kill Garuda tomorrow night after work, and get my revenge in lieu of doing it this morning b4 bed :P I for one am so frustrated with these damn bots...gold bots, farm bots, scam bots, etc etc etc bots....starting to just hate all robots in general now, lol. Anyway, good luck SQEX in getting her back to working order for us devoted and loving players....we're all sick of all the maintenances, and this need to be resolved ASAP. Keep the maintenances down to once a week = many more happy players :) Just tired of it always being when it's late at night and I'm trying to play till I fall asleep (the way it's meant to be played ofc).

Without an explanation from SE all we are doing here is whistling in the dark. I do not mind the early maintenance if it was for a good reason. What I do mind is SE not giving us one. In fact we get nothing at all. A post should have been made at the time of shut down, or shortly thereafter, giving an explanation with a general outline of corrective actions. It will probably be days before we find out anything, if at all. This taking the player base for granted is the 1 thing about SE that continually upsets me more then anything else.

On a somewhat positive note; if the RMT are being forced to engage in openly criminal activity to replenish their supply of Gil then SEs efforts to curtail their activity is having the desired effect. A hack of the game side servers can be backtracked and the offenders located and hopefully prosecuted depending on their location. This hacking borders on desperation.

Edit: I stand corrected. My only excuse is that I searched both the forums and the Lodestone prior to making this post and it was not up yet and past experience told me not to expect 1 soon.

A lot of people didn't know what was going on, I know nobody in my FC was affected, or if they were, didn't say anything. I didn't read any shouts about it Mor Dhona or anything. If they want to skip over some posts to vent some frustration first until they realize what's the big problem, then let them.

If there's something to get mad over, are those gilsellers... GRR! How dare they! Do they really think people are going to use their services after they get their gil robbed from them? People aren't that dense.

Kinda in the mood for some cheddar now that I see all the talk about whining about whining about whining, lol, but shame I just brushed my teeth :P Yeah it's frickin, annoying but I'd rather they fix it and KO all the uglies than have them hit any more peeps in the game. Wish they'd make it a server raid that they would gather all the bots in a big pile and let the rest of the server raid on them PvP style, not allowing the bots to attack back, they just have to sit there and get beaten senseless by the angry mobs :) Just a thought for when they intro the PvP stuff, hahaha :)
