My point was about the importance of Aesthetics, and why its importance to not just cut them out of the game. FFXI did an amazing job with aesthetics, as seen in the video, the reflections on the water surface, trees shedding leafs, the birds, the weather, the airship scenery and this is an MMO from 10 years ago. Its the small attention to detail that made Vana'diel so amazing, in my opinion at least. This is a feature that FFXIV currently greatly lacks, remember the water when taking a ship? no scenery on airship, and the one thing the game did have was the movement animation, it was amazingly done and aesthetically pleasing. How disappointing would it be to have this amazing waterfall scenery in ARR but no waterfall animation. I Just want them to pay some attention to Aesthetics, sure its useless in terms of gameplay but its important.
