Lack of End Game Content

I agree 100%! i was VERY excited by the idea of eureka and it single handedly was my biggest disappointment of this game in the last several years by far. To see how much love and care went into the rest of the game, it was a major let down to see it fall into a massive fate grind with no apparent direction. To have an endgame zone or area was a huge breath of fresh air and im still hoping it gets fixed at some point. Also hoping at some point they allow relic to be a REAL relic aka the maintained version of the strongest weapons in the game. See Apocalypse scythe from ffxi for a good example.

Ok, You are rare then. If it was more people like you who atleast played all and I mean all of endgame then people wouldn't question everytime this comes up. But sadly most of the time it does we find out the person complaining doesn't have a lick in anything but complains about how easy things are or how there's no endgame. So I'm glad at least one person - you- atleast has had their toes and or foot in all of the content to be making the complaints.

Most people simple do not not want to do level 70/60 content at 80 - and I don't blame them. If the content was soloable - i'd do it in a heartbeat.

I'm complaining about current end game content. Not unsynced content for yesteryear.

Besides, theres plenty of other end game content they could add that isn't Ultimate. More Extremes, more savages or god forbid something new.

What's the real least surprising development in this thread is the bitterness and sarcasm we've all come to expect from the casual gamers who are somehow offended at the notion of balancing the casual to end game ratio a little more after all these years.

This is one of the biggest issues in this game. They need to stop making endgame content irrelevant after such short a period of time.

1) Most every MMO does the same thing. Even WoW does it.
2) Every expansion release in every MMO I have played has a lack of content on release, because you can blast through it within 2 weeks at a steady pace unless you only have an hour or two to play per day.
3) This game is designed intentionally so that when you run out of content you want to do then you unsub and wait for patches to come while playing the other games in your library. This game is not designed to consume all your time unlike WoW. Yoshi-P wants you to have time for other things then just FFXIV.

That is something interesting to see. It can be the training ground for who wants approach the savage content but still not enough expert for it.

Square Enix is a massive company with resources most companies would dream to have. They rushed out the release and siphoned resources, and they should be criticized for it.

Which is fine but SE decided to give people who might player slower than you more time to play through before having to worry about end game stuff with timers.

That still doesn't resolve the fact that after playing the game for four days, two days being I'm off, and the other two having came from work, went to gym, then settled down for the evening, I ended up completing it. Now Eden is just something to get done with the week and have nothing to do. Heck, getting the gear from the tokens doesn't mean anything except making ex trials and raids easier to do.

I rather they just give us an updated Eureka. It's clearly the winning formula.

If difficulty is an issue then I would not be opposed to a normal mode of Ultimate bosses and also savage modes of trials and 24 mans to pad the number of end game encounters, but I have a feeling that simply making more versions of the same duties wouldn't satisfy the people complaining about lack of end game.

I and many others have made all of the arguments which you just stated.....but the opposition doesn't care. They are not having it.
