Only 4 is allowed currently.

Some news, we were able to unlock Sector 22 by exploring 20, and the unlock did not appear in the voyage log.

You may want to review your Free Company ranks and permissions.
GMs will not be able to restore company workshops, company credits spent on airship-related items, or voyage items (or any item) taken from your FC chest.
Airships, no matter their level, CANNOT be restored.

The Sectors unlocked only appear in the initial log, and not in the "view previous log" option for some reason. I discovered 16 and 19 in the same voyage today (woo double luck) but went back to SS the log and the notifications weren't there. If this is the initial log pre-finalization, well then IDK you have a phantom unlock.

That's always been SE's course because they don't want to get involved or put in the excessive work of judging who is in the right when stuff like this happens: Person A: "It's not like he said, it's like i said." Person B: "It's not like he said, it's like i said."
In cases like this it's pretty clear - but then on the other side he/she had access. Hence why most Housing/Gardening/Workshops/Airships are run in a Dictatorship - once you're branded you wont trust anyone with expensive stuff again.
Lesson: Check Rank Settings after new stuff was introduced - that's the only thing you ever will be able to do :/

Was it in the log right after the airship came back? Because when i uncovered Sector 15 two days ago it was. And when i was looking in the previous log it vanished ^^

Soo.. I'm back again to provide some disgusting news....

My FC didn't get its 2nd airship until rank 30... and HAS NOT DISCOVERED A SINGLE SECTOR SINCE RANK 29!!! We hit rank 50 today....

I have been sending this fucking airship out to sectors 10 and 11 for 20 ranks now and not a single sector discovered... WTF SE?

Hell... our 2nd airship is now almost high enough to start exploring the same sectors (rank 29)....

@Magis that's what I mean. You will see it on the log when the airship first returns, but it will not show when you click view previous log.

Nah, it didn't show in the initial log either, only in the chatlog/toast pop-up when I finalized the report. Regardless, don't think I've seen anyone say you could unlock 22 from exploring 20.

The Spreadsheet got a confirmed entry of SC22 unlocking from SC21 - so yes, noone has said that 22 unlocks from 20 because its 20->21->22 ^^
