I think it's more like this comment from Reika. You would be able to have equipment screen open while having item screen AND shop window open. Or something like that.

I think so too, in the Alpha videos shown with Yoshi playing you could see him opening the equipment, inventory, and social windows simultaneously.

That's awesome. Like I wonder how many NPCs can walk and they go to beds at nighttime much similar to what Shenmue/Skyrim can do. :D

Just for those interested, a while back Soken put up an image with signatures from all the JP voice actors in XIV.

I listed some of the names I got off from JP posters but Gelehrte Crest was able to list them down with their sample voices from youtube. Pretty cool stuff :)

You're right. After reading your translation again, that's exactly what it sounds like. I do remember hearing that we're able to finally alt+tab without crashing the game, so I provided the right answer to the wrong question lol.
