That's interesting. It's good to know that people have been told it is being investigated. Others are being treated as though they are the only person that has complained of the issue, and that nothing can be done etc.
It's also strange that a large majority of players remain unaffected by the problem. If it was purely an issue with Square-Enix's servers then the majority (if not all) of the players in the game would be experiencing the issue. This is why it seems more likely that there's an issue with the route the data takes to get from the players/ISPs to the servers (a problem with one of the level3 servers that people have been commenting about, perhaps).
