Before the confirmation you insisted that my worries were useless.

Now that we know the animation is a serious downgrade, you again try to justify it, by falsely comparing it with the current one.

No. The objective truth is that the ARR animation as shown in these videos looks way worse not only compared to what we currently have, but the one 1.0 had at the very first day.

Hell it even looks worse than other mmo's now.

That is your personal opinion and not more or less. Unless this is your second Character, you didnt play at the very first day. So how would you know at all? Our Characters stop'd when we pulled out the Weapon, which caused Problem. The next Step was pulling out the Weapon and "sliding", which looked more unrealistic... it took a while until it got fixed. And that is just one example out of many different Animations which were different to what we have now.

sounds depressing... ok another example.. say you're on brd and you are too close to combo, in order to get to the right distance you have to either slowly walk backwards or swing the camera around run back and swing the camera back around again toward the mob. Even in hamlet as a crafter i run backwards so i can see if the mobs enimty bar is flashing red or not... the character animation change is minor to me, but these controls if permanent could be terrible i think.

Rightclick mouse turn run forward. It's not that hard. Most mmos work like this.
