Bad lag again with NTT's NA server network

Well, I'm d/ling the patch now with CloudFlare Warp so should be able to tell you soon.

I had no problems downloading the patch around 5:45 am EDT. I don't think you will have any problems if you download it now. When primetime starts later today, we may have our problems again (I hope not!).

Nah, you're fine to download the patch. The issues should start cropping up in about 2-3 hours if they follow the usual schedule.

Got the patch just fine just now, so go ahead and go for it, you prolly don't need cloudflare warp right now but I thought I'd get used to using it. I'm watching this thread to find out when I can uninstall that though.

And before anyone asks, I've tangled with AT&T tech support before and have no desire to do that again at the present time since it's just FFXIV. I'd make the brother who DOESN'T play FFXIV pretty mad b/c he works from home. Said brother has a temper worse than Alisae so yeah, I don't want to call them right now tho I'm watching this.

I would try downloading again with it turned off if you haven't already. That's likely a separate hiccup.

Welp doesn't look like they fixed this problem during down time. Pings are going up already...

Definitely starting to bounce around quite a bit. Still staying between ~55-61ms of ping and no packet loss just yet on my end, but we'll see. This is right around when it usually starts happening for me.

Edit: Annnnnnnd there we go. 11:43am EST, ping has shot up to 100ms+ and stayed there. Gonna keep collecting more data before posting a screenshot. Problem isn't resolved, clearly.
Edit the Second: Maybe spoke too soon? Stayed high for a few minutes and now back down to roughly 55-70. Stepping away for a bit for lunch, so we'll see what things look like when I'm back.

What I've noticed is that it seems to be okay earlier in the day and gets worse later. I've had to use a VPN since Tuesday just to make the game playable.
