While on the topic of the PS4, the absolute most important thing IMO for the PS4 is for the love of God to make the programming process much easier than with the PS3.
The absolute worst thing about the Current Gen Console market is how XBox 360 players can boast how the games run better and look better on the 360 ONLY because the game developers were lazy and programmed the games for the 360, ported that to PC, and then generically ported that to the PS3 never coming close to optimizing the game for PS3.
This expectation of a generic port to work properly is the main reason FFXIV 1.0 could never work for the PS3. it's also the same reason Bethesda has so many problems with the Skyrim DLC. Yea it's because of the split-RAM, but that split-RAM isn't an issue if you program for the console instead of port to the console. So hopefully Sony won't do something like split-RAM again and simplify the programming of games for the PS4 so that multi-platform games for the PS4 will be treated better instead of ignoring the hassle of the coding.
