People are calling you out for not reading past the title. All of your posts have prettying much came off as not reading past the title, first off you beach slap winterluna telling them to stop complaining. The you call them an elitists when they have proof they are not.
Then you act toxic when players are trying to correct your misunderstanding, calling them toxic and elitists. I'm actually a considerable new player I at most got to 60 and did alex normal I never got a chance to raid due to personal issues, I'm for this option. I don't consider it elitist in anyway shape or form.
The pary finder system is infact a community tool, and not one person here is trying to change it, what the option is asking is to refine the system. If you actually read the active help file for the party finder system, it clearly states "Use to form like minded parties with players across the world". A new player looking to learn or clear a peice of content isn't "like minded" by joining a group targeted at people with clears looking to farm. Since said new player has other reasons to join the group then the other players.
This options prevents that, which opens for more options to form learning/clear groups since more players would need it.
And to be clear, the party finder system is open to all players who clear sastasha. Parties in that system are exclusive, to what the party leader dictates. Though not commonly (sp?) known or practiced players can infact report other players on the matters of party play.
and if that isn't typed well I appologise, but this is what I mean.
player A puts a party finder ad to farm Ravena, clearly states cleared players only with tags "serious play, high gear only" and "multiple runs for loot".
Player B who hasn't cleared joins with out asking the party leader, they give generic replies acting like they have cleared content. Pretty much quoting youtube, or player guides.
The party fills and que to join, and "new player" comes up everyone leaves. Now the finger pointing happens and player B finally fesses up that he is new.The party disbands.
What player B can be reported for 2 things, first being player agreement. He joined the party agreeing to the terms when he clearly doesn't as he doesm't meet the "cleared player only" rule the leader set up. He also disrupted the game play of others preventing them from achieving their goals as he didn't fit the critiera.
This option prevents that from happening.
No one is telling you to agree or else, but their pointing out that you misunderstand the thread, and basing all your posts around a title. -

It's still a very viable option to create a clear party in PF. People waaaaaaay discount how effective this is at getting a clear. There's social networks to deal with this content everywhere. Barring that it's even possible to purchase clears ( which I don't condone in any way ). This is just a much clearer line in the sand for a party that wants to use it's time effectively.
What your essentially saying is a farm party's time is less valuable then a new player's time. This is just simply not the case. However, if you feel that this isn't true then I simply won't respond because obviously there's is a divide in ethics between us. -

To create the kind of things your suggesting takes a huge amount of effort by the playerbase, something that may not be achievable. Back in 2.x in coil, my only option at the time was pf groups so I made phase learning groups every single day for T9, gradually I got closer and closer to the kill after mastering all previous phases. It was at this point now my pure frustration began, people would join and wipe us on golems or the proceeding phases and had a clear lack of knowledge of any of the mechanics. It almost drove me to point of quitting coil as I was so fed up with these people ruining mine and my parties experience.
I asked a farm group if I could join them very late in the night, the pf leader advised me if I made 1 mistake I was out, I agreed and promised I knew what I was doing. The first attempt 5% we failed due to the misplacement of db marks from the brd in group, I asked the leader if I deem acceptable to continue in which we said I did great, the next run was a fail again on golems byaanother party member again, the leader of the group told me they been at this 3hrs and need a break as many silly mistakes but said I was most welcome to come along tomorrow to get my kill ^^ which I did.
Even with this setting, this option would still be open to people who have experience but cant just find a group with similar levels of understanding or capabilities to clear.
I joined my first learning party last night for thordan ex, I can now safely say I can get meteors 110%, today I hope to practice pass that. Once I know I'm capable of a kill I will start recording these runs, so that in future if I can't find a group full of genuine players that can clear it, I can at least ask a farm group and provide evidence of how far I can get. -

If players wish to make Farming Parties in PF, they should have that option.
At the moment, we have players lying and abusing the system. I honestly cannot see why such behaviour is getting any support at all. Nobody should be encouraged to lie and use others as a means to an end. Allowing this abuse to continue is not good for the people trying to farm or for the community as a whole. -

Secondly, you keep talking about the community. Guess what? It's the community causing this problem in the first place. New players can make their own groups, ask for help, make their own linkshells and group of friends like you suggested.
A huge point you seem to be missing is that new players shouldn't even be joining fam parties. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that. It's also not just about skill. Players sneak into farm parties to leech a clear.
People are so obsessed with white knighting the community and trying to play the hero to new players yet it's some of those very players creating this issue. -
