Its not Cindy, its Cidney ; ;
That's not armor, and it wasn't meant to be armor - afaik. Different subject/issue, and would need different grounds for arguments and that's if the same people here were interested in arguing it. I know for a fact that some people who take issue with the armor being changed/Dragoon AF would not have an issue with that clothes example. (As OP's bottom statement says).
Purpose and circumstance mean a lot, specially when it comes to getting people to put up their hackles :p
I do believe that good thematic sense has won this day.
(hidden due to potential spoiler for DRK story quest. EDIT: WHICH IS AWESOME, I LOVE YOU SE! Everyone please level DRK. <3 But please learn as you go, don't be a loldrk. )
I've been kind of fortunate, in that (currently leveling Machinist) all that I've run into seem to have at least some idea of what they should be done. I don't doubt that the bad ones are aplenty, trying it out as is their prerogative, but time and the simple effect of either finding something fun and getting better at it, or finding the role and demands not so fun and looking elsewhere, will see them diminish.
Since I play Tank all the time I have yet to really meet one of those infamous tanks I tend to read on the forums.
And yes, with the new Jobs DRK seem to be the most populare, atleast from the start (personal experience).
I always try to keep a positive attitude when playing with others, even when failing on duties over and over. Had those times when I had to resort to Google Translate because no one knew English and I had to explain tactics. If someone knows both languages I ask if someone can translate, which people mostly do when asked. Had one of those 2day and we downed King Mog after a few wipes. Learning by Trial & Error is one of the best ways to learn imo. Why I get so annoyed when people start pushing the Disband button after 1 wipe.
It's those people who ignores warnings, tactics, just don't listen at all that I lose faith in.
Luckely, I have only had a handfull of those. Most of the times it's because said person just don't understand your language. But that can be solved like I said before.
Thank goodness.
