I just harvested 4 onions and got 2 mimett gourd seeds from

mandrake x onion x king tomato
mandrake x onion x jute

so I guess mandrake + onion = mimett seed

took me 7 days and about 60+ times of fertilizing to grow them

i also got mimett gourd seeds from mandrake + thavnarian onion, but also an onion prince!

got an onion prince from mandrake x onion as well earlier (before the almond x mandrake cross for nymeia)

I decided to be brave and test this, and I can confirm that I did not get the message that my chocobo's max rank went up, and my chocobo is over halfway to rank 11. So whatever you do, DO NOT FEED YOUR CHOCOBOS ONIONS UNTIL THEIR EXP IS CAPPED!

Edit: And just for clarification, when I say capped I mean at 0/X exp of your current max chocobo rank. So if your chocobo's max rank is rank 10 you should have 0/1458000 exp

I apologize if this has already been discovered and discussed. Roughly 4 days ago I pulled an Eggplant Knight out of a Krakka Root and could not figure out how I got it. Last night I figured it out. I accidently crossbred a Eggplant Knight and a Krakka Root and received an Eggplant Knight. I desperately attempted to search the internet and discovered someone else had confirmed a Garlic Jester/Krakka Root = Eggplant Knight.

I suspect that <Random gardening minion> + Krakka Root = Eggplant Knight

And if that is right, then if we change the 2nd ingredient to say a Sylkis Bud, would a different minion pop out?

I don't think anyone's posted that particular combination yet, but I think it'd just make another Eggplant Knight.

People said these made Eggplant Knights:

Krakka + Eggplant Knight
Krakka + Garlic Jester
Krakka + Onion Prince
Thavnairian Onion + King Tomato
Thavnairian Onion + Mand.Queen

And these make Jute:

King Tomato + Almond
Mandragora Queen + Almond

These make Broombush:

Eggplant Knight + Onion Prince
Eggplant Knight + Mandragora Queen

And these make Pearl Roselles:

Mandrake + Eggplant Knight
Mandrake + Garlic Jester
Mandrake + King Tomato

Harvested some Prickly Pineapple today (crossed with Thav Onion) and received Mimmett Gourd seeds

Say, has anyone tried a thavnarian onion x Pearl Roselle cross?
Don't have any more onion seeds nor growing onions so can't try myself, but isn't it strange how pearl roselle is only good for the crafting of a dekorative hat?
What if that's the loop we've been searching for?

Broombush used to only be used for a minion and most of the flowers are only used in the Spring dress set or other vanity items.
