Except that the only thing people will see will be wedding rings when checked. Just like everyone else who's married. It's not like a stream of hearts are going to be connecting two players every time they're within a malm of each other. -

Society at large does and it evolves by the day. Right now there is a more vocal group on about the inclusion and acception of same-sexual relations. In 50-100 years it could be more acceptable to be gay or LESS acceptable... who knows? maybe we will all keep sheep in a closet for our "needs".

Well but you said it yourself. IF I was about to find out about it then I would feel VERY harmed. Only because I don't know about something it isn't more mutual from my side.
Let me set up my definition for mutual then:
To me mutual means when two person agree on something/have the same feeling on something or would have so if both knew about it.
Let's have another example: Say you have serious documents like your banking account datas/ money transfer data etc. It has a reason why those are private. I wouldn't like to have anyone spy on my bank account (without robbing it - just observing). There are just some issues that are part of an individual privacy and to hurt this privacy is not correct, even if the person doesn't know of it. -
