This is a perfect example of how many people around here are literally distorting reality just for the sake of disingenuously painting an incorrect picture of the character and storytelling to support a false point.
Here's how it actually goes.
Krile and her parents finally meet (it's complicated) and they're having trouble breaking the ice, so Wuk Lamat suggests to go get treats (we are at an amusement park, so it's perfectly appropriate) to give them some time alone, which is 100% the sensible thing to do. And after that, we get to hear Krile's parents' memories anyway.
So yeah, some people are engaging in pure revisionism. Either they skipped the cutscenes and they're bullsh*tting, or they're intentionally lying. That's pretty disgraceful.
