They're literally threatening you and other ex-healers with a good time.
These anti-strikers, my sides can't take it.

Wait normal raids? Like normal Pandaemonium? The content that normal casuals who play the MSQ are supposed to be able to do?
So not even the "average casual" skill level is the common denominator? They really base it on the lowest possible skill level? And when a player at this level shows they improve - which should show the devs that normal players can and will get better at the game - instead of working with that or seeing that as positive feedback, they evict that tester from their role?
It was ShB at the time so it was Eden but yes, you got the point.
Don't have to, but again, I'm not afraid to if it means I get to play the game on my own timeline, not yours.
The whole point of a strike is to send a message. It is intended that everyone supports it or else it sends the wrong message. Remember the strikes of the early 1900's? What they don't tell you in history books is that if factory workers didn't join the strike, then they were taken out and beaten for it. Is that really your intention to get your way?
No, I'm not. I didn't type any of those words. Try again.
However, the sad truth is that if enough healers quit, then someone will fill the void out of desperation. Your queue time will be quite long in the mean time. #shuddersInWoWdpsQueueTimes #45minutesIsTooLongForADungeon
Nobody can recover from basically being told that "The healer we use for balancing our casual content was better than a gil farm bot, so we replaced them."
I think every healer in the strike is fully aware of that, they just don't care.
And if one of the dps/tank mains is switching to healer for faster queues then maybe they too will notice how awful the design of the role currently is.
I'm not white-knighting the devs if that's what you're insinuating. I just think that everyone here hasn't quite considered all the facts and one of those being that the void left behind by the striking healers won't be so easily filled. So go enjoy your DPS jobs until it's time to queue for your first MSQ trial. :) I've played DPS the whole game (except for Savage raiding; but surely *this time* I won't have to switch to healer just to complete the tier in a reasonable amount of time, right? right?). The queue times are downright hurtful at times. I just hope you're all prepared to go from not enjoying the game because you don't like how a job is designed - to not enjoying the game because you literally can't play it while you wait for someone else to play that job you don't like.
It's easy to ignore a inconvenient truth if it makes doing something easier.... but it's foolish to ignore that truth if one isn't prepared to accept the natural consequences of ignoring said truth.
I'm not against the strike, I just don't see the point in it. SE hasn't listened so far, so what makes you think "We'll get 'em this time, boys! This time for sure!"?
Because doing something is always better than doing nothing. Giving feedback might mean it will get ignored, not giving any guarantees it will be. Will this amount to anything tangible? Maybe not. Has it gotten more people talking about healers than any other time in the last decade I can think of? Yes.
