I hate PF for that.
People nearly always assume someone making a mistake is an idiot and intentionally griefing the group and thus respond aggressively. Very often it's a misunderstanding, or they're used to a different strat with their static, or they're on a new position and missed something minor and it can be cleared up with a quick friendly explanation. If the player in question doesn't respond after the explanation, that's different, but at least try first before ruining the run and spreading bad mood. PF is a group without a raid leader where everyone is expected to just know a standard universal PF strat that often differs from online guides. It's not surprising it goes badly.
In your case, while pulling North is good for uptime, your dps are completely at fault because the tankbuster and Fireplume are two entirely different mechanics. There is zero reason to stand inside the boss during tank tethers.
