No I mean, why move to where 'most players are in EU'.
Like say I'm in X server where most NA's are, but move to another where EU's are.

You found me pretty easily because me and my friends were pushing through all the MSQs for like 6 hours at a time. Which didn't go well, everyone but 1 quit.

ouch that suck. was it that bad? I didn't have to go thru all the catching up thing since I was playing a few months before expansion, but I know that lvling low lvls can be annoying sometimes.

Yes it was that bad. I threw my own temper tantrum. It was 4 of us total, 2 of us haven't played since 2.0 and then the other 2 were brand new. So we had to do all of those primals over 100+ quests dungeons, etc All to play the new jobs (which is why we came back). Then we still have to level those jobs. >_>

It's not the lack of help that was the problem. It's just simply that shouldn't be required to play a job or to look at the new expansion. We all have played many, many, many mmos for a very long time. What SE did is just unheard of and is beyond tedious. And I know someone is thinking "But muh lorez!" Well guess what, we have no clue what's going on lore wise. We smashed our click button and Esc, through every single thing. We do not care, that stuff should be optional because if someone doesn't want to read it, they won't. In the end it just causes people to leave. =T

hm, yeah I can understand. The only thing that I can think of is that SE wanted the new players to play with the old classes and practice with them cuz the new classes like the old ones have their downside, but it is very noticeable on these new three classes. Some new contents can't be don't that well with the new classes at least the player has experience on what to expect in this game. with that said, I can see a good point your argument, and I don't see it wrong. I suppose they just wanted to do what they wanted with the game. SE has their idea on how the game must be done. I don't know how the JPN players answered to this new expansion. We need to remember that even if we have a lot of players /outside of JPN/, I don't think we are the majority. They will pretty much do what the market in that country looks appropriate.

I don't like this type of game /FFXIV/ to tell you the true, BUT the glamour and activity of the raids and some npcs in the main story makes want to stay and continue playing. I am very against to play games that are based on turn in quests to level. I am more used to just go to a map and level by killing mobs in there without the need to have a quest to actually boost my exp, but here you see me playing this game.

Hello all, just want to say that this thread is amazing. Alaric came to my server on an alt and we hit it off wonderfully, he transferred to Odin the other day. We were so compatible with each other that we're doing an Eternal Bond marriage together. Thank you so much for making this thread to help people find new friends to enjoy game content like this with.

We haven't made a date yet but we've already done the questline. We're very happy together and promise to show pictures whenever we set the date for the wedding! ^_^

But it's the quest line and trying to do all the trials/dungeons. Especially when post of the players in this game, let's face it, are just really bad.

I guess it is a question of preference from the people. I don't care much about the races, but of course you would want something pleasing to the eyes. I see nothing wrong with lalafells.

I know it can be frustrating, I guess. I know some friends are having problems to clear new contents cuz of the bast new players or bad players that don't know how to play the classes yet they already hit lvl 60. I helped some friends to clear those content and I am /still/ going to help today or tomorrow with my static group. I am glad they will be there give me a hand. That is why a lot of current players are telling the returners and/or new players to not try to rush thru the content cuz it will be a headache at least you have a group /guild or friends/ that know what to do and go thru everything. I know you said you were doing it with your friends, but remember that you told me that you were worry about DF /yet glad that you could DF otherwise it would take you longer to get the whole group setup/

@ the subject about lalas. I think people read too much into the concent pf lalas = they look like children. I know that in rl one of the couples can look younger yet ppl don't look bad at them /then again we have to remember that people have "courage" to speak up when they are not known (anonymous) to the rest of the world/. Where are the lalas in Balmung =/? /I like them too D=/

Yeah, just when I was about to give up on the whole EB thing, there she goes appearing on forums XD. Yes thanks to this thread, finally got to meet someone cool who shares my same interests for the game! This thread really helps make connections and find new friends. And yes, there will be lots of pics to upload for all to see when the time comes! :D

honestly I want to look good with my EB partner. Me with a lala.....I would look like their parent. If I was a lala, hell yes, I would don doubt want to eb with a lala.
But in reality people fantasia so much that we all will be married to all races eventually.
