whoops, wrong thread!
Is it sad that I had a dream recently where Dawntrail released suddenly, and when checking Sage's action list, I saw four new DPS spells added to their action list: one at level 20, two between level 90 and 100, and their level 100 spell being some kind of attack? And that made me unreasonably happy for XIV.
I don't know what they did in that dream. It was just a fleeting moment I recall of seeing new icons and names in the action list.
I got 9th level of Alexander in my normal roulette recently. The refurbisher hits tank so hard with auto attack and a cleave attack constantly. Maybe that should be back to make healer actually need to heal with gcd?
In all honesty, unless they change the healing model, there's almost nothing they can add to the healers' 'healing' in Dawntrail other than traits that increase healing potency. I know the underlying problem of boring healers, but other than that, they even consider that the role's main activity (of healing) itself might have hit a brick wall in Endwalker?
I'm still bored when I heal because I need more complex DPS rotations
then mythic+ dungeons in WoW might be your way
Or...since I picked healing and 90% of my kit is heals, GIVE ME SOMETHING TO HEAL! How much content in this game actually needs a healer for something beyond the ability for the queue to pop?
As if adding more to heal would stop the sylphies from pressing anything except medica 2
Like seriously does anyone know a single person who is both a prolific user of oGCD’s in their intended way and is also bad at healing, everyone either seems to be “medica 2 is the answer to every question” or they could easily heal with half the oGCD’s we have now
Where are these mythical people that having 10,000 oGCD’s is actually benefiting
They'd need to completely redo their philosophy behind encounters to be, dare I say, more WoW-like by having constant significant damage on the tanks and/or party instead of it always coming in predictable spikes for the current healing kits to make much sense.
I have basically zero confidence they're going to bother tuning the incoming damage in 7.x to properly account for the new tools healers will get, though.
