Their ears were not deaf to our cries.
That would mean they heard them and didn't care.
Our cries have never reached their ears, and that is good feedback for us because it shows the way we've been trying to get their attention hasn't been working.

IDK how to best signal boost our voices from here, but we shouldn't just do what we have been for the last 6+ years and expect it to work now.

There's no evidence for either. DRK has been consistently screwed over since its inception in HW. I think the developers might be in a comfortable spot, where they know that all attempts at fixing the problems they've caused have fallen flat.

Imagine dealing with a problem everytime until you have found a decent solution. That's where they are. But DRK in 6.0 proves that they have grown too complacent and rather avoid anything which would make them re-do the process.

DRK is a remnant of the 3.0 complexity. Whatever they do at this point it will never ever, be on par with 3.0 DRK. As we will never go back to those times, it's safe to say the expansion of this job won't be all too much exciting; nothing we haven't seen before.

And 6.0 DRK is as an absolute insult. At no point would I see myself revisiting this job. I already haven't bought Endwalker and will enjoy what's left of my sub. Main is a main, Reaper has nothing on that.

I think that's a bit hard to believe. They constantly add buffs to other jobs but couldn't be bothered giving a small fix to LD? No charges to Blood Weapon? Please.

It's their job to seek out feedback. Reason I don't use reddit or other places is because I tend to dislike them. You have this thread with 40.000 hits and various responses and they couldn't have been bothered to send someone in to look for feedback where you'd expect it the most?

Anyhow. Mr Happy has literally told them. Now, what they decide to do until the release of Endwalker or job changes is up to them. DRK still sucks, and it's not our responsibility as paying customers to go on protest marches to make them aware of how badly it's designed.

If he hasn't "heard the community's desires" than that basically confirms they don't even bother to look at criticisms and complaints towards the Dark Knight. May as well just say "Alright stop whining and play Paladin already, it's the only tank we care about anyway."

Didn't Xenosys asked for an LD rework during ShB Media tour? And Yoshida answered they'd look into it?

In my opinion they should create in-game surveys, or outside.

It's unrealistic for them to expect people to consistently give feedback; sometimes you have nothing more to say.

At least in this way you would essentially gather enough data on this job.

Look at the MP gained from Bloodspiller. 600MP. If this goes live Delirium is going to be actively nerfed. Presently 5 Bloodspillers under Delirium would at least generate enough MP to allow one use of TBN/Edge or Flood of Shadow. That will not be the case come Endwalker.

Dev team, please address this going in to live servers. I was worried this was going to be the case when going from 5 to 3 actions.

That's been bugging me a bit, I'm glad you brought it up. Why is SquareEnix so Cheap with Dark Knight Mana Regen? Edge & Flood of Shadow is 3000 MANA, The Blackest Night is 3000 MANA to cast, that MANA will always get spent Fast but the Mana Regen is a measly 600 Mana per Attack Skill Hit instead of 1000/1500 etc at least, that's some Cheap Ass, Penny Pinching, Tight Wad attitude they got. Hell, they could make the Edge & Flood of Shadow skills cost 2000 MANA, The Blackest Night could be 2000 Mana or Free. A whole lot of keyboard mashing for so little.

And Now the Mana Regen Short Changing when going from 5 to 3 actions, clearly nobody at SquareEnix tested this or cared, yikes.

At least with the Paladin if I expend my Mana doing the Requiescat Holy Spirit, Holy Circle, Confiteor Spam (and Self Clemency :P) I can fall back on Sword Phase DPS Goring Blade & Royal Authority-Atonement Skills to annihilate mobs and bosses WHILE regenerating all my Mana back just in time for another Requiescat Beatdown Combo. And my Short Cooldown Sheltron (soon to be Holy Sheltron) is on Oath resource, no cost to Mana, just 5 auto attacks easy, no rushed keyboard button mashing.
