Level 50 roulette: Snowcloak. Party was a SCH, DRK, and other DPS was either a NIN or MNK. Anyways, after a few pulls, the SCH turned to me and told me that I needed to "help the tank" with his MP. I sat there for a minute and was like "It's not going to work on him" (because MP song doesn't work on DRKs because they usually keep Darkside up). The tank turns off DS and I play my song for him (even though he said it was his bad for not using his MP regens properly), and the SCH was like "See it works!"

Trial roulette: Levi. Spumes came up, I'm the only one attacking them. Got yelled at by an AST in the group for not doing my job, and I politely told him that I was attacking the spumes, but I can't be expected to destroy all four on my own in a timely manner since BRDs don't DPS as well as other DPS (plus, I couldn't use WM so that wasn't really helping). He told me to stop making excuses. Tank told him that AST are more then capable of helping DPS, too. Glad someone stuck up for me.

Hard mode dungeon the day of the patch release, join dungeon and there is a tank with a mentor crown. Get to the first mob and tank says 'sorry i have to eat dinner, you can kick me if you want' Then went AFK. Mentor crown was a joke i think, especially considering both DPS were new.

The first time i run through Antitower and Lost City.

Antitower: AST/BLM: AST never used a single card, BLM was almost full 200 but with the i150 weapon.

Lost City: Another AST, this time used cards on the wrong people.


Expert roulette? I went as AST to forget those other 2 awful AST.

Speaking of raid awareness... there was a DRG that gave me crap saying "lol, tanks raid awareness is bad tonight" in A7 (first time too) for not pulling the boss away from the heart. Ok, whatever, I know now and we finished the boss with no problems. The kicker is that I got grouped with this same DRG for first time A8, and she died 3 times to avoidable damage, I couldn't help but laugh. If you're going to give someone crap for lack of something, make sure you can live up to your own standards.

As a healer, I can say A7 is pretty annoying. >.< I find A8 to be much easier, especially to DF.

But, yeah, shame on them for not explaining the heart thing if they were gonna complain about it. People are still learning the fights and other people are acting like the whole thing has been out for months, smh.

To be honest..I still mess up myself on Alex 7 and 8..lol so I don't exactly expect anything perfect in Midas yet.

Understandably so, the patch is only 2 days out after all. Yet I myself also received hate from someone since I died to an A5 mechanic on my first time in. What puzzles me is that the people who supposedly knows the mechanics aren't bothered to explain them, and resort to raging about it in chat instead. This I will never comprehend.

But even with months old content, the possibility exists of players experiencing it for the first time and will be learning it. Even with guides and videos, it takes first hand experience to get it down. People need to be patient and considerate.

I always find that the impatient people like that come out of the woodwork when new content rolls around, but rarely stay for very long. Maybe I've just been lucky and not run into very many of them, but hopefully the poor attitudes, or rather the people with them, will taper off. People do need to learn some patience though, especially for new content that isn't even a week old.

I haven't attempted Midas in the Duty Finder yet. I'm afraid of what I'll find there. I'd much rather go with friends. ;w;

Only a few runs in and it hasn't been bad. Only one derpy blm that wiped us. I find the NM raids get bad after about the time it takes the first wave to gear a class, then it gradually gets worse. It also seems to get worse the longer you wait after reset.

Yes, but for the most part, when something has been out for a couple months, 75% of the time you can assume everyone has done it. Especially something you're going to be farming for weekly lockout items.

I found with A1-A4 normal that it took about 3 weeks for Aether parties to be consistently full of people who have done the fight prior.

Did Void Ark today as AST (my sister qued with me as PLD). On the first boss, apparantly a DRG had a problem how one of the ASTs was healing (there was only me in A and another in B). They first mistakenly said C who had no AST, then corrected to A which meant me. The DRG was in my party so not sure why they said it in Shout and not party, but whatever. I already had healed it once as AST and many times as SCH prior, so I knew what I was doing.

At the second boss, they actually tried to kick me. O.o My sister said in party that I was doing my job and not to kick me. My co healer said "barely" so apparantly they agreed with the DRG. Thankfully it did not go through. And the rest of Void Ark went hunky dory. There were no wipes and I did my job. There were plenty of times when the raid didn't even need much healing. And I do admit that I did die on the third boss on accident. I thought I got on the pad, but I didn't. xD At least someone raised me. So no idea why they thought that, but meh. Too bad nothing dropped that I wanted...

So, I've been stalled in story at Dusk vigil for a while waiting for my wife to be able to play again. I've been levelling alternate jobs, I main PLD and was keeping my PLD at the same level as my wife so she doesn't get left behind.

So, I'm on WHM, and Q for a Leveling Roulette. Insta-pop

....aaaaaaand.....it's Dusk Vigil!!!!!

Saywhatnow? An "oh Sh*t moment" occurs as the cutscene rolls....

I didn't realize you could get a dungeon you'd never even step foot in via roulette... My WHM is just barely lvl 52 and not brilliantly equipped, but I figured at least I get to watch what the tank does.

Well, I managed to keep everyone alive, even while adjusting to the rapidity with which the tank lost HP, not his fault, the mobs were just hitting hard. So, after the rust was gone, I was keeping things going, regen, cures, medica, esuna, a bit of DPS, the occasional double Holy and of course kept Shroud up as long as I could remember to. IIRC we got the 1st boss no problem, on the 2nd, we got it, but I died in the last moment of the fight and one of the DPS had fallen. It was my fault, I was standing in stupid as I fumbled around with my raise macro - it's not something I use frequently. I apologize and explain to everyone that this is in fact the first time I've run it. No one says anything...

So, we get to the final boss, and I wasn't familiar with the main mechanic and got caught out a couple of times. The last one, I was already playing catch up from OOMing earlier in the fight, got sucked into the middle and dumped out on the ground. While I'm trying to get others healed back up, I miss a marker and fall, Q the wipe. The only thing said was that I should have raised one of the DPS because we had LB available and they might have been able to kill the boss with it.

We go again, this time I do better on the main mechanic, and we blow through the boss swiftly. Thanks to all, great run from them. Commend the tank for putting up with my rusty healing. Job done.

So, why is this in this topic? Because the nightmare and reason to cry is not always someone else, sometimes it's us. I imagine that when I said "Hey folks, this is the first time I've been here, I was doing roulette and never expected to get this dungeon.", that there were three deep sighs and rolled eyes on the other sides of the screen. The thing is, I know I'm not the greatest healer in the world, mainly due to lack of practice, but I keep people alive, and get some DPS in as well.

But man, how would you like to get a healer new to the dungeon in level appropriate gear who says this is their first time and they were not expecting it either. I've seen other players rage quit in those circumstances, in under 3 seconds. I hope it was not too much of a nightmare though.

Jumped into DR:Mentor the other day and wound up in Stone Vigil Normal. Didn't see any sprouts but it was a quick guess as to who the new player was. Lo and behold there was a carbuncle running around and I checked out the player, all they had leveled was 42 ACN, no other jobs even at 1. I politely asked if they knew about the advanced job quests that become available at level 30, their reply was essentially that they had no clue what I was talking about.

So, I started explaining how they could unlock 2 additional jobs which open up more spells and abilities and even give them new pets to use. I give a quick run down of both Scholar and Summoner to let them know of their options. This results in the person asking how they do that and after explaining that for SMN they needed THM at level 15 and for SCH they needed CNJ at level 15 their reply was "too much work, I'll never bother to do it".

Due to having the mentor crown on, I decided to just reply with "well, it is your choice if you want to take the time to unlock your advanced jobs. I would highly suggest you do take the time to do so as it will enhance your performance greatly. As you venture higher in level, you will most likely start to run into people who will kick you out of the party for not having either of those jobs unlocked"

They pretty much just shrugged it off and ignored the comment. As we are working our way to the first boss, I notice that his carbuncle was on auto and kicking mobs all over the place. Again, I calmly informed them that during a dungeon it is sometimes considered proper etiquette to place pets that have a push back onto manual control. Again, the reply was "too much hassle" and I just left it at that.

Now we are on the first boss and I notice that through most of the fight, the ACN was spamming Physick while barely doing any attack spells. After the fight is over, I mentioned that they didn't need to worry about using their cure spells and that they should focus on doing damage. To my surprise they actually asked why and I replied that as an ACN, they were taking the role of a damage dealer and that the healer of the group was responsible for healing everyone and keeping them up. Their reply "that's too much work to worry about what others are doing, I'll just keep playing how I am".

Again, I decided to just leave it alone and let them do what they wanted for the rest of the run. Once we killed the final boss and the ACN left, the tank in the group stuck around and commented on the fact that they can't believe how patient I was when dealing with the ACN and that they would have tore them a new one after the first comment about unlocking SMN or SCH being too much of a hassle.

Hopefully, this person was one of the more rare players we will encounter running DR:Mentor. I honestly don't mind people learning how the play the game, but it took most of my patience to not blow up on the person after repeatedly being told that they essentially couldn't care less about advice or how to improve at the game on even the most basic levels.

And that's why, even though I have met all requirements to be a mentor, I will never do it. I don't have the patience for that. I applaud you for that!

Decided to try out the mentor roulette and got Shiva Extreme. The tank, who was new, kept running around with her, never staying in one spot and at one point turned her at the wrong time, killing most of us. We did try several times, giving tips, but no change. Besides, even if the tanking had been decent, the DPS was incredibly low, despite most people being synced from 60, we barely killed 2 of the adds. Too scared to try it out again for that meager reward...

Not only this, but a couple of months down the road, the majority of people in a run will have much better gear than right now, allowing wiggle room for new peoples mistakes.

my favorite as of late is in Quan when a Bee final stings the tank because he keeps running way ahead of the heal then calls the healer trash for him dieing XD

So I decided to do the new primal today, i got a premade group. The tank asked " you want tips?" i said yes, he started without telling me the important stuff T.T. Turns out its insanely similar to Titan ex, I healed Titan ex for fun so i was able to get into the grove of things. The only snafu was we lost a tank and a brd during the punch shock wave thing. Besides that it was great, It might be more fun then Thordan :)

Went into the new trial, Sephirot HM. It was my first time and I was tanking. The other tank had been there before and was giving out some directions to the group (I think he automatically assumed lots of new people, which is fine, but I felt bad for the SMN who put up eye for an eye on the entire group, then we didn't pull because of the explanation xD). So the other tank gives a basic overview and I pull (as he's in deliverance as WAR, so I just put on ShO and go). Fight is going smoothly at first, but a few min in, one of his tank busters hits me extra hard and I go down. My hp wasn't topped off at this point and I didn't pop any CD's (because I wasn't used catching the cue's for it yet). OT takes over, I get a quick res and pop on SwO and start whacking away. We continue on. Then Sephirot goes into giant mode. The other tank says, "be careful, now you can get knocked off". I'm standing right in front of Sephirot smacking away at him when he said this and I get knocked off.... T.T' I sit there dead and watch for the mechanics while I'm at it. They get far enough for me to catch the drift of how things should go though. The party eventually wipes and we start again.

Now this time, things are going pretty well. I pull again, things are going well. Tank busters are still hitting me hard as I still didn't have the right timing on my CD's unfortunately. I die on one of them again, but I did use my CD's this time. It just wasn't enough unfortunately. Same thing, OT takes over, i get res, I become OT. Sephirot becomes a giant again. This time, I'm ready for the hand o doom! I don't get knocked off \(*0*)/

Then that one mechanic where you kill the wind thing and get propelled into the air comes. I see one of our healers doesn't seem to realize they need to be in the circle to survive, so I pop cover on her. I'm sitting there like, yeeaaaa, I'm awesome! Then we get propelled into the air and the hand of doom comes sweeping through. I'm in mid air still when I suddenly die... oh.... yea... might of wanted to do that hallowed ground... Whoops. But hey! They healer survived xD I get another quick res and we finish up the boss. I just thought it was funny.

That feel when you go into M3 to get the head token, get a party where like 5 people are new, spend 3 mins explaining the fight, wipe 3 times, then roll an 11 on the single head token that dropped, and not getting even a single commendation. Gee, thanks for nothing, team.

(Yeah, I should just stick to farm groups in PF, but was pretty dead for the past several hours.)

Yeah man, everyone should know that fight to a T 3 days after the patch. You also deserve all the high rolls just because.

Had a game last night where myself (Noct AST) and a SCH outhealed the 3 WHMs on our GC. One of them healed for 50k and died 10 times. I think you literally have to cast nothing but Cure I to heal that low in FL, smh.

Haah, gotta admit, I was That DPS the last few days. I had an unpleasant week, starting with my laptop dying after Skype-ing through all of the 3.2 story in 6 hours with friends. The day after, I started getting random bouts of horrible, horrible lag with my PS4, up to the game being straight up unplayable.

Have you guys ever seen a fight going in stop motion with none of your inputs registering properly, but the sever not kicking you entirely? It's unpleasant, frustrating, and today I finally let out a screech loud enough to alert my dad of my situation (after the PS4 repeatedly told me the WPA password was wrong...)

I wish I could apologise to the A7 group from yesterday... I just didnt see the entire fight at all, everything happened at once or not at all u_u

On the positive, pre-lag side, I got a A6 clear in a group with my best friend tanking bc her ninja isnt geared enough yet, and we managed to kill the last guy like 3 seconds before he hit enrage... because we were three dragoons, a dark knight, a warrior, I think a white mage and an astrologian, and the bard had disconnected ages ago... even got my second foot token... That was a wild ride, start to finish, because me and my friend went in blinder than blind. Faceplanted about as much as I faceplanted earlier that day when me and my other friend did Sephirot completely blind for the first time (although that was a first try clear. That WHM was amazing, they straight up solohealed a bunch of idiots, myself included, after my friend got pushed off!)

Man this new laptop's weird as it can be, though.

Nothing mind-blowing or terrible, just thought I'd share.

My first run through Stone Vigil NM tonight with my DRG friend, had an AST and I believe a BRD. Very smooth run, except when I lost hate on a random mob due to the AST going HAAM on it between heals. But the AST explained each boss and told me the best places to tank 'em so the rest of the party would have the easiest time with the mechanics of the fights.
Just really overall pleasant experience, so my comm and thanks to them! :)

Did trial roulette on my DRK yesterday and got Chrysalis. Nobody watches the cutscene, yet the newbie message pops up, but before I can ask if everyone knows what to do, the other DRK activates Grit and Darkside and pulls. Sigh. Things are going smooth though, people do this spheres thing properly, nobody wastes our LB on Nabriales. Then the meteor phase starts and I'm the only one catching up meteors, wondering what the MT does. The Aetherial Tear is dying horribly slowly and nobody uses the LB, our party on the other side is dying horribly fast because I fail at catching up all the meteors - in the end it's only me and this very big meteor and I decide to die honorably by dancing the Manderville Dance under the very big meteor.

After this one wipe half of the party leaves (I really, really hate this) and the MT disconnects until a lv60 WHM, a new lv53 ninja and myself are left. I ask the ninja if they know what to do and explain everything after they told me that they don't, meanwhile the group is getting filled with a Noct AST and three bards (one of them saying "what we really need now is another bard" #andnotasingleballadwassung). The other dark knight never came back so I kick them, and as I didn't expect a replacement to show up soon I decide to solotank this and warn my group that I never maintanked Chrysalis before. While I run to Nabriales to smash an Unmend right into his face I read a message from the WHM: "Just make sure to pop CDs during Triple". Okay, can do this, I guess. Things are going fine except at one point when Nabriales casts Triple while I have all my defensive CDs on, well, CD. Oops, guess I have to work on my timing, at least the AST was clever enough to give me a new shield for every single attack (they got my comm for this). Literally three seconds before the meteor phase a warrior shows up so I don't have to deal with meteors alone, whee. Again nobody uses the LB on the Aetherial Tear although I told the ninja to use it before, I feel like "no, not again" but the damage the bards dish out is so sweet and epic that they kill the thing without the LB.

This was kind of a new experience to me and, although it was Chrysalis which many people say about "God no not this shit in DF", quite a nice and funny one. I just wish that people don't ragequit after a single wipe, especially with firsttimers in the party.

You misunderstood me, I guess. I have absolutely no problem with people not knowing the fight, and wiping a few times, and I actually enjoy explaining fights as long as people listen and improve.

I was frustrated about my lack of luck with RNG (that 11 roll was in a streak of sub-40 rolls) after doing the fight with about a dozen mediocre to extremely bad¹ DF groups yesterday combined with the fact that half the groups I explained the fights to were incredibly ungrateful (sometimes getting as much as zero comms and not even a thanks in /p) despite the fact that about half of them were new and often even asked for explanations.

¹ and I mean bad as in "sub-par player in general", not "doesn't know the fight". There's a difference and it's usually easy to tell. Like tanks who can neither solo-tank the Uplander Doom nor tank-swap properly, even after the third wipe from multiple tank deaths and several detailed explanations about how this (fairly simple) tank buster mechanic works. Let's not get started about DPS players.

Got stuck with an all German group in the Aery on my MCH today. I'm level 58 and was somehow out DPSing the level 60 SMN and taking the aggro from the tank without even trying (?!) The tank was also extremely slow (dying and not accepting a raise for 5+ minutes, standing around for ages between mobs, and so on) so I started... "helping" him pull. I was asked to "let him tank his way." I said I would if he does his job better. You can guess what happened ten seconds later.

I'll be the first to admit that DPS initiating pulls is irritating, but it's less so than being forced to stand around for five minutes between pulls while the tank strolls around at his own leisure. Part of being a good tank is setting a decent pace for the dungeon, and even as a healer I'd rather spam heal a DPS for a few minutes than sit around doing nothing. Tanks who think we've got all the time in the world to hang around waiting for them drive me insane.

I ran Stone Vigil (Hard) the other day and it was my first time doing that dungeon as a WHM, I was paired up with a friend so we got two randoms. I'm in a cutscene and my friend reminds me to say that I'm new to this dungeon, which I do and the tank was like "We were hoping for that" and I think it was either the other DPS or the tank that said "Use protect, big pulls." And I'm just like what.

We PROCEED to wipe about 5-6 times, because they were rushing and getting pulls before I could heal them. Once the tank dies, everyone dies and the DPS was pulling who was a black mage instead of the tank dying - so I'm switching between healing the DPS and the tank. It was very stressful and even before we get to the final boss, we wipe some more. I even asked at one point for them to slow down please, and the DPS decides to be a idiot and keeps doing a ready check throughout the rest of the dungeon.

I was SO close to quitting this dungeon because of how frustrating this was and by the time I was ready to quit, we were at the final boss and I just stuck through with it. It was my first time experiencing something like that, I guess I'm just glad I was getting frustrated and it wasn't boiling over to me being upset.

I ended up getting a que for a dungeon in progress for Qarn last night while leveling my alt. Okay, no biggie. First thing I walk into is the other dps telling the tank to take smaller groups because the tank was losing aggro. Oh no, I think to myself.

I started running to the group. I noticed we lacked a healer. Fine, whatever. I can wait. Then I notice something odd. This tank was a Gladiator. Oh dear. No wonder they can't keep aggro. I almost left. I knew I walked into a train wreck. But instead of leaving, I decided I wanted to see how things would play out. I had time. So the first thing I do is start giving some advice to the Gladiator. I explain to them that it's probably hard to hold aggro because at this level, she should be a Paladin and as a Paladin, she would have a stat boost from having a job class. So I start giving her advise on tanking and explain to her to do her class/job quests, etc. We get a healer right as I'm done explaining and go. Continuing in post #2

The poor Gladiator can't hold aggro. She knew what her skills were though. I saw her flashing, shield lobbing, etc. But because she was a Gladiator, she could not hold aggro. We all ended up continuously ripping aggro from her. I ended up tanking quite a few of the enemies and the whole second boss fight. By the end of the dungeon, the healer immediately left before I could even blink. I stuck around to explain to the tank she did everything she could and tried her best, but because she did not have her job crystal, she wasn't quite strong enough to hold aggro. I explained to her that once she was a Paladin, she would be able to hold aggro and I told her to take care. The other dps agreed with me and also told her good luck as well. I ended up getting commendations from the tank and other dps.

I have heard horror stories of people getting jobless tanks before, but it had never happened to me until last night. At least I was able to help another player out and she appreciated it.

I got off work last night and decide to do my roulette before bed. So it's 1:30 in the morning and I'm a little tired and i get Titan HM. And it's been awhile since I've done and even longer since I've done it as a NIN. The first round I died during the second phase shift because I was standing too close to the edge when it fell off. There was that brief second of realization that I was standing on air; it was something out of Loony Toons. The second round went a lot better, made it to about 25ish% health. He tombed someone and I was breaking them out and he started casting Landslide. Where I was all I had to do was take a step to the left, but nope I decided to run between Titans legs. It looked like he farted me off the edge. They beat him and I decided I should do any more roulettes.

Just becoming a Paladin won't make a big difference in holding aggro. Paladins don't get their tank stance until level 40. Granted, the extra damage done while using Sword Oath would help a bit with holding aggro, but not all that much.

Entered Ravana EX with pre-made 6 man party, 2 from duty finder (healer and a dps). 5 of us were new, but we were skyping through it nicely. After first wipe, I swiftcast stoneskin 2, and then next to it is protect. But since it was late night with tiredness, instead of clicking protect, I clicked Aero 2 that was next to protect on the other side (note: it's not there anymore :D). I had Ravana as target to get him as focus target and noticed the cast too late. Ok, I ninja pulled, fun! We laughed at it in skype and continued normal. I casted protect right after, no problem.

Then I started noticing my mp was draining quickly and our other healer was just standing there doing nothing. When the first part of the wall broke, the healer ran straight to it and jumped down, causing us a wipe.

Reason of the other healer's behaviour: "I wasn't ready." Naturally that lighted up a discussion in party and we got good laughs.

We cleared Ravana EX on our next DF try. :)

A8 - hit enrage 3 times because of a SMN pulling 288 DPS. Ruin III spam is the new meta now.

But hey, Stone, Sky, Sea succeeded in making these kind of players want to improve themselves, amirite?

That is very true, but it will help even if just a tiny bit, and considering Qarn is level 35 said Gladiator isn't too far away from 40 anyway. It would be interesting to know what gear the Gladiator had; weapon is the biggest contribution to damage (and thus aggro), and is the first thing a tank should look at upgrading and keeping as upgraded as possible/affordable.

Of course, it probably doesn't help that they've lowered tank damage over-all with 3.2, when they changed damage to ½Vit, ½Str. Sure, they improved tank stance aggro modifier, but that doesn't help the base classes =/


Aaanyway, ran level 60 roulette yesterday with two friends (Me SCH, with a MNK and DRK). Ended up in the Arboretum with a random DRG. Things went okay, but slight disagreements started after the first boss when our dps asked the tank about preferences with the bees/walls, just so we'd know what the plan was. The DRG chimed in and requested that we burn the wall if possible. Slightly snapped response along the lines of "didn't ask YOU", which... wasn't really polite either, even if it was followed up with a "the tank's the one who'll die if things go wrong, that's why it's their decision" comment.

Actually, the 'disagreement' had started a bit earlier, during the first boss fight, when the DRG refused to attack the adds, leaving our MNK to handle them all on his own. Not even when it was commented on did the DRG help, didn't even respond. So the first thing he said that run was the above-mentioned regarding the wall.

Fast forward to the last boss, and... the whole "I will not attack adds, I will not dodge AoEs" mode the DRG was in became really frustrating. I think at one point he had six stacks of the Magic Vulnerability debuff. Trying to keep him alive meant I couldn't get to the MNK in time, who'd gotten two stacks (one from missing a Frond and one from the adds that didn't die quickly enough due to only one person attacking them). No matter: SwiftRes and Protect and continue.

Once the boss is down, the DRG makes a rude comment about the 'rude MNK' and leaves before I have time to finish typing the same sentence, only switching 'rude MNK' to 'lazy DRG'.



On a good note, we did an Ex roulette just after that. Zone in and see the DRG icon on our fourth member. I think we all had a few heartbeats of panic before we realized it was a completely different DRG. And a newbie to boot.

It was a fun run ^^ We paused for a few moments to see if the DRG wanted any tips on the bosses, but otherwise just ran things normally. Mechanics didn't go perfectly (of course), and there were a couple of deaths, but we got the first boss down. The DRG apologized for dying and screwing things up, but we didn't really mind at all, and told him as much -- we've all been new at one point. After that, we all got a bit more talkative, making a few comments here and there.

Wiped on the second boss, mostly due to me dying unnecessarily, forgetting to keep my own HP up as well as the others' ^^; But it's no big deal, so we just go back to the start and try again.

To make things better, a couple of DRG gear dropped as well ^^ For some reason, it's always so much more satisfying to have gear for a random drop if it's their first run of the place. Probably because we can all relate to the feeling of getting new shinies.

So yeah... The difference between those two DRGs... I'd take the latter over the former any day.

I was playing on my alt character yesterday, and I impulsively decided I wanted to level up CNJ on her, so I queued for Sastasha when I hit 15. Didn't have to wait too long. The tank and one of the DPS were a premade, and they were obviously friends, throwing jokes at one another. Nothing wrong with that. Had a good laugh. Other DPS was a beansprout like my alt, but we weren't new to Sastasha.

Anyways, the two friends decided to do a full run. Nothing wrong with that, except with all the joking we were in there for 40 minutes. 40. Minutes. Longest run of Sastasha EVER. I was getting a little annoyed because I had limited time to play yesterday, and just wanted to get some things done, but I dealt with it.

And I was only after the CNJ gear, so I was just passing on other things, especially the other DPS stuff incase the beansprout DPS wanted them. And then the tank was like "You should roll on those. You can turn them in for seals."

...I'm well aware. I just didn't want to fill up my armoury chest with gear to exchange at this point. Since I hadn't really reached that point in the MSQ to even pick a GC for this charac. Just irritated me. But I was having a bad day, so that's probably why I got so irritated at all the "advice" I was being given. XD

ADD: I did want to say that, the day before yesterday, I did Trial Roulette on my main. Got Ravana. We did pretty well until about half-way through, one tank and another DPS got knocked off. The remaining DPS were a MNK and a DRG, and the remaining tank kept telling them to use the LB since Ravana was almost dead. They didn't, and the tank kept shouting it, so I said screw it and got to use my Bard LB3 and killed him. :3 (Even though he was just about dead but still XD) And got 3 comms, too. I feel so happy when I get to LB in duties (and I'd never seen LB3 for Bard so I was pretty happy about that, too).

I finally have one I can join in with!

Just tried A8 for the first time. After we wiped pretty quickly, one blm called the other a noob. Then the arguing started, one healer joined in and sided with one of the blms, and throughout the whole second pull they were yelling at each other, about who was killing whose adds, and who was calling which orbs, and whose healing was awful.

After the second wipe, a tank tried to calm them down, but someone called for an abandon. The other dragoon pulled and the motion went through after a bit more fighting.

Some people really don't have a lot of patience!

Just went in again and cleared it with an awesome group who were so nice and helpful to all the newbies!
