Proper balance is about proper balance, no more no less
You can't prove something that isn't true

I think part of the issue with this discussion is people may conflate "effort" and "difficulty". Difficulty in many cases is subjective but jobs often can clearly be identified as a job that requires significantly more effort to optimize. The example I'd point to is that both SAM and SMN are "easy" jobs but SAM requires noticeably more "effort" to optimize compared to SMN.
Where things fall for people under the range of difficulty is subjective, but relative difficulty usually isn't.
Using your example, many people may find walking easy or hard; I'd imagine that everyone would find jogging harder than walking though, regardless of how difficult they find walking to be. I imagine sprinting would be even more difficult. Still might not be "hard" for someone to do, but it's still more difficult than walking.
That being said, job balance should not be linked to its difficulty whether that is objective or not.
Y'all do realize that this thread is just 25 people arguing with precisely one person who is a brick wall on the subject, right?
Lol wut? There's not a single job in this game I consider difficult to play. The average APM for any job in this game is around 45 which is painfully slow even for the more hectic openers.
Meanwhile there are people who struggle with jobs and would say the opposite of me. Difficulty is 100% subjective.
Then again I'm not sure why I'm wasting time on a troll like you who actually has a wiki page dedicated to them for how much of a troll they are which I will say is mighty impressive.
