Yup, I got 2 of um. Sound advice.looking for plots people arnt brawling it out for. You'll win a plot but play the long game for the bigger spots. Thats not me telling you you have to buy it but im just trying to help, as you did say you wished to have a plot.

Im fine with that, im not for everyone. Wouldn't want to be. Especially watching code switching like an on/off switch. Its cringe to me

Kind of hard to have standards when you have nothing. Like saying youre too good for a busted little beater when you have to walk everywhere currently.

I hope they figure something out before the Mirage system. Or its gonna be the last call for low plot priority. Because once it goes live. Plots can be converted to larger plot interior sizes and players are going to get alot less picky in what they bid on.

Maybe it's not obvious enough for Square Enix?

I even state in the next sentence I'm happy with my small personal plot, but go off. Instead of getting the "yeah, that sure is a lot of people putting in a lot of money into a lot of bids not to win" you somehow got "ME ME ME" out of that entire post, and I cannot in good faith continue using oxygen to explain words to you.

I actually feel like the number of open small plots might be signaling that housing demand isn’t as high as some think, rather than the opposite. I did a quick look at current unoccupied plots (numbers may vary slightly depending on updates):

OCE: 24,440

NA: 20,960

EU: 2,854

JP: 6,100

Of course, population differences between worlds play a role, and no one should have to transfer just to own a house—but that could explain why opening new wards isn’t necessarily a top priority.

OCE is high simply because… well, it’s OCE. NA is high largely due to Dynamis. EU and JP are on the lower end, unfortunately.

Still, one could argue there’s little harm in opening an additional 3 or 6 wards of plots to ease availability. Personally, I’m not a fan of instanced housing—I quite enjoy the ward system—but it does have its limitations.

Just my two cents.

I found two unbid small plots on the same server. With less than twelve hours left on timer

I find it hard to believe that there's a crisis when when players are so picky for a plot they want so badly

That's the thing though. As pointed in my comment above. While I understand everyone's frustration with housing, it appears to be more pickiness vs just wanting a plot in some cases. I know I am picky wanting a Shirogane medium and I am okay with knowing that it might take ages. It sucks. But its hard to send the right message to the devs when there are worlds with plots that have been open for 3 years, yes looking at OCE and Dynamis.

Come transfer here in OCE you will get lots of HOUSE! just leave that NA server. it is a failing DC

With Tardis housing being confirmed to be coming in the next housing update, I'd suggest whoever doesn't have a house yet pick up one of these smalls, even if it's not your dream plot. You can always move later, you'll make the gil back and besides the garden/location preference, it should have everything else you could want while you gather the gil to relocate/continue to participate in lotteries until you win.

Yeah Solowing has been trying to advise people to do the smart thing and just buy a small, instead of being spoiled brats whining about losing bids for Larges when they're not even homeowners yet.

I mean, to be fair, there’s not enough smalls to go around either on most worlds. Aside from the boom we had during NA’s recent auto-demo refresh, supply is going down again. And without a cross-DC/regional PF and DF, the idea of transferring to a world you can’t stay on if you want to run content isn’t appealing.

You think you're entitled to a plot but youre not. We have no power over the systems that they design.And we have no power to dictate what we're entitled to within that design. Only the devs decide that.

I too felt bummed my friend left for Sereph for a assured medium, since they couldnt find one on Excslibur. But what really changed? I could go to Sereph if I wanted to and they could come visit Excalibur and given discord exist.

As of Sept 2025, I find that there are def enough small plots in the wards on my Aether world every day when I login to check my subs I noticed 2-3 open plots for weeks now with zero bids. Also, I ended up winning the small plot in the FC ward this way too but if ppl ONLY want M or L plots it means to suffer and bid against 100-200 others who have the same idea like I've spent a few months constantly losing M Plot bids and I still try to bid on them. Finally, I only have 2 small plots, but it's better than bidding on M/L and winning zero unless they add a new ward soon.

I'll keep bidding on M plots, but I'd be OK even if I can't upgrade any time soon.
