This just occurred to me: Did they include a /pray emote because it will play a part on this whole thing?

Azeyma stone's position is 50, 29 for the record.
just tried /pray at several of them, to include my Guardian stone, nothing happened.
Maybe this will be a part of the summer event?
Great post, thank you Dhalmel
Is this when we light the belfry and then go riding out on our chocobos crying out that the garleans are coming the garleans are coming?
Talk to the NPCs, they're suddenly all chatty about Dalamud.
Quicksand in Uldah:
Kiora: Dalamud the lesser moon growing angry and immense, stars falling in all directions and tearing holes in the sky... If there's an iller omen, I've not seen it. More than a few took it for a fireworks show-gazed right into it, they did! Word is, any caught near them falling stars been cursed something awful. If I was one of them, I'd give every gil I'd got to the Ossuary. If anyone can save them, it's them thaumaturges.
From Camp Dragonhead:
Sidonia: No dragon sightings today, I am afraid. But I did come across a queerly dressed bard who sung an off-key ballad foretelling such rubbish as the falling of the Heavens and the rising of bloodthirsty colossi. If you ask me, I should have sliced out his rotten tongue right then and there.

Maybe we should post some more rumors. :)
Nice thread by the way!
Took a ride to Thaliak's stone last night and during one of the new Miniquests I saw the one of Menphina too.
Just curious what's going to happen next >.<
Oh and since I read through this thread, I started talking randomly to NPCs too xD
Most of them are pretty much scared, but a few like that dude Foxe and, of course, the 'Cultists' aren't.
Actually they can't wait for it (that's what I understood). Creepy, if you ask me :/
W'hahtoa: If you're keen on avoidin' the untimely displacement of that poxy mug from your shoulders, you'd best refrain from sullyin' the name Merlwyb when in the esteemed company of our good cap'n.
W'hahtoa: This talk of mutiny has Hyllfyr in a mood most foul.

Uh oh... The Maelstrom may have an interesting quest soon.
Yeah I noticed this too when I was questing the new miner sidequest at the guild. Most of them had a comment about dalamud.
I hope those hookers survive :<
The ships are also flying over Mor Dhona. The ones over Coerthas leave the map headed toward the Black Shroud and the ones over Mor Dhona go west toward Limsa. Wonder if there is a 3rd set somewhere headed to Uldah..
Epic thread... indeed you guys are all just epic. Thank you.
I had seen the underground crystal a while back, and the strange symbols in Limsa and Gridania... but I didn't know that the underground crystal was now glowing red!
Gonna go check this out in-game now...
Again at Camp Bentbranch:
Jajajbygo: Had word of a shady bloke seen wanderin' about. Best keep an eye out, eh?
Pepeli: There was a strange fellow here not long ago, preaching to any who would listen. Dark words, about the coming of the Seventh Umbral Era...
Camp Emerald Moss:
Miraudont: There are more and more strange characters appearing about here as of late. Stay safe, friend.

Guys either this patch or in lettered patches look out for this dude. I don't know if it's the same cloaked figure or "YoshiP"
@ HiirNoivl awww man that i need to go read and talk to them
This guy. lol @ Hyrstmill:
Drystan: Now, since you're plainly a good sort, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret: it's the greenwrath what's given Dalamud his bloody hue and made Garuda stronger besides. Quite a revelation, eh?
Guys:
@ Camp Blackbrush:
Blandhem: An Ul'dahn airship was shot down by a Garlean battle cruiser to the southwest of here. We've bolstered the watch here at Camp Black Brush.
Gonna go check this out.
Edit: Nothing found. So far, Gridania seems to be where most of the NPC talk is.
Lousioix's staff has an symbol of "Scholar". Sorry if you guys already mentioned it.

There is a crashed garlean airship on fire, one like the ones that fly over Cohertas, at the botton of a cliff in Mor Dhona, though. I don't know if this could be related or even new, it may have been there since the last patch when they put there Castrum Novum... but I just noticed it yesterday.
@Camp Crooked Fork
Paul: We've had more than our share of strange visitors as of late. They seem to be drawn to the aetheryte, and I don't only mean this one. My fellow Scarlet Lancers all report these ominous gatherings.
Yeah, a lot of these tidbits are from previous patches. With the beginning of Urianger appearing and what-not. As for the airship shotdown in Black Brush, iirc there are some Ul'dahn quests which deal with it; it's separate from the one shot down in Mor'Dhona. (Obviously as the one in Mor'Dhona is a Garlean ship and the one in Black Brush is an Ul'dahn)
(O_O ) Great find! (^_^ )-b
I first stumbled on Halone, totally overlooked Menphina, and I went to see Thaliak and Azeyma. These are very cool indeed. Thank you for posting pictures.
That's always been there.
However... knowing his role in ARR now... I'm going to go out on a limb and say maybe the twelve are not only present in Eorzea, but that they've also taken the forms of the 5 races.
Louisoix being Thaliak could explain his knowledge of the primals and give him the powers he uses to copy paste us from 1.xx to 2.0
"Archon" is indeed the name given to the (believed) earthly embodiments of the twelves, as mentionned in the quest "Of archons and muses".
I actually find weird that every NPCs are talking about the archons as if it was normal, considering it's supposed to be a legend (and no small legend!). Or they don't know the legend and think "archon" is just another appellation for the circle of knowledge.
Urianger is said to be an Archon. The trick comes with matching them up. Louisiox is easy because of the staff and the symbol on it. But if there are any others present, it's not terribly obvious.
It's hard to identify which of the twelve Urianger is supposed to represent... my best guess would be Althyk
Quote:
Althyk is the surveyor of change and space and god of time. He commands the element of Earth and is associated with the twelfth moon of the Eorzean calendar. Althyk is the father of Azeyma and Menphina, and elder brother to Nymeia. He is most often depicted as an austere emperor wielding a mythril greataxe. His symbol is the hourglass.
