So as we all know, the world of Hydaelyn is in grave danger from Dalamud's impact. Could there be more than just a gaint impact? Maybe there's something right under our nose.

You are probably wondering what is that on the aetheryte?

It's the symbol of one of the 12 mythos: Thaliak.


"Thaliak, ruler of rivers and wisdom and god of knowledge, is the guardian deity of Sharlayan. He commands the element of Water and is associated with the third moon of the Eorzean calendar. Thaliak is the father of Llymlaen, and the teacher of Byregot. He is most often depicted as a reserved scholar holding an ashen staff. His symbol is the scroll."


A change you may not see from the images, is that aetheryte is glowing RED and is making a violent humming noise when you walk towards it.



So yes, Eorzea is changing now as you read this post. Could there be others like this tucked away in the game? Possible, the other 11 mythos could be hidden away right now.

So let's try to find more of these hidden changes (if more exist) and keep track of them between the letter patches.

She is most often depicted as a jubilant farmer holding a scythe of steel. Her symbol is the spring leaf."

Nald'thal @ Thaumaturge guild



"Nald'thal is the overseer of transactions and the underworld, and god of commerce. He commands the element of Fire and is associated with the tenth moon of the Eorzean calendar. Nald'thal is the single manifestation of the deific twins Nald and Thal. He is most often depicted as a discerning merchant holding a balance. His symbol is the cowry, an ancient shell currency."


Halone @ Twinpools (11,20)

There are 12 rings in this patch named after the gods. I wonder how they are obtained and if it is related.
