Yup. Unless you won the queue lottery, RMT is the only way to get a house. SE promotes housing a lot in their marketing, so they're driving business to the RMT they claim to dislike.

The "effort" SE spends with solving real issues is laughable. Bots? You can buy ANY on the market out and they will work without getting ever banned. RMT? Buy 1000m gil, gear and any unique item. No ban will ever hit you. Resellers? The /shout was flooded with offers and sellers/scammers. No one cares.

But hey, let's talk about what really matters! New 10 EUR emote when?

I think both players AND FCs should be able to own one. Why not?
(The lack of conversion is really silly though. You lose quite some money only to convert it to an FC house or normal. It's crazy stupid.)

I'll sign. It's ridiculous, I even managed to log in within 3 minutes of the server going up, and all 24 versions of the house I wanted were gone. I was pretty mad about it to.

Despite being patch day, with a new raid, cross-realm friend list/tells(Useful because my cousin rolled on another realm, and one of my static mates is off server), more Hildibrand quests, more MSQ(Which I do really love), an extra dungeon, etc etc..........I just logged off without doing any of it. Goblin's housing sold out SO fast, it's stupid.

I'm fine with the system as it is, aside from the scarcity. Auto add a new ward when all plots are filled. There's no reason to limit player housing. If the argument from SE is a technical one, isn't our subscription money used for those kinds of issues?

I'd love to see all kinds of different things added instead. Small numbers of wards around the smaller settlements (Vesper Bay, Mor China, etc) would be an interesting concept. Ishgard housing. Whatever. I understand those ideas may be farfetched. Generating more wards to suit player demand, however, isn't farfetched at all. How is this such an unreasonable request for SE to process?

Virtual scarcity is a ridiculous concept.

People saved their money only to be scammed by lousy people in the end.

If that is what it takes for all the content to be obtainable then bring on the desolate housing plots. I mean players are looking at desired housing content that they may never have access to no matter how many hours they put into it. /signed

Someone needs to catfish this guy and get him to admit what he's doing in game to make the reports hold more weight.

This is an awesome idea.

There is also some guilds who have like 20 houses+, thats a shame. I'm okay for individual houses, but there is a lot of people who keep house to not let other get it. Some inactive people stay active just for it.

All 24 versions of every house are gone on my server, and were filled very quickly. According to FFXIV Census, the 2880 plots are serving in the best case scenario less than 20% of the active characters, in terms of potential personal housing. When you add in the perspective of FC housing to the mix, the number of personal plots becomes even smaller.

I agree. I tried to enjoy some of the content, couldn't.


*Edit; Not to imply I disapprove of FC housing or personal housing. I strongly feel neither should be arbitrarily limited by "lack of space"

The fact that a multi-million dollar company can't budget in more servers for this is outright ludicrous. The fact that they are willing to let their customers even think of cancelling, due to a huge demand not being met, is economic suicide. The fact that knowing their actives outstrip the available housing supply at a roughly 4:1 ratio, making it so RMTs make a substantial profit, all while stating they don't condone RMT in the first place, is downright moronic.

Please tell me that the dev/mgr teams of this global corp are not that stupid. That there are literally dozens of multi-page threads already, across all languages, should be a huge wake up call. Especially with the amount of people threatening/cancelled due to this, should be all that needs stating. But yeah, consider me as signing this petition. My own cancel will also come, pending what is done to alleviate this issue.

The ball is in your court SE, make us happy or make us leave, your choice.

Have been playing since 2.0.... MY FC never had a chance at a house. >:( Many of these houses are bought by private players. FCs are literally screwed over. Apartments are not a solution since there is content locked (Airship building/Gardening) behind FC houses. Fix Housing or Improve apartments. (Room upgrades, Airship Hangar whatever). Tired of this nonsense. 6:07 AM and Everything was gone on Behemoth server. Locked behind an error and freaking 1800 log in queue! T_T Everyone pays their sub, they should have a fair chance at this, increase wards!

Don't get overworked here. There are some folks that were on low-pop servers eons ago that bought houses naturally and SE doesn't limit it. Don't blame the player base for taking advantage of the system created if they're not breaking TOS
