LOL I don't disagree it's an exploit, it obviously is. I just don't care about it enough to get into an argument over who did what first in a video game. And our linkshell beat it without the exploit, tyvm. Just let people enjoy the game. I will tell you why that Post was again subjective: You are twisting reality to your own beliefs. It does not matter if FFXI does allow reraise in a Battlefield or not, since this is simply not FFXI. The Current Game-mechanis allow you in FFXIV to recover in a Battlefield as long as one Member got a Raise. If you call this an exploit, you are of course allowed to it, but trying to say that people who made use of it, are exploiters is nothing else but bad-mouthing.

To kick a Group in FFXIV after everyone is dead is logical, since Reraise does not exist. There is no Reason to let a Party stay in the Battlefield, when they dont have a Chance to recover. Having a Raise on someone in the Party is changing this circumstance. And im pretty sure SE is aware of this since a long Time, since this method is used for a very long Time now. No, Moogle wasnt the first Situation where people used it.

You cant make something a fact, because you are saying so. This is the reason why you obviously dont understand the difference between subjective and objective. You can post subjective Posts as much as you want, but calling them objective is a bit dim.

We were able to beat it legit. It really isn't hard, you just have to make sure one moogle is down before the next one comes up in phase one. Also to make sure the GLA goes down first, nuke/DPS it like crazy and do the same for the other moogles and you should have a few seconds to get yourself ready for AF that does nearly no damage. Stoneskin/Sanguine/Sentinel also really helps in the transition phase.

Just need to learn the combo system. :o

Anyone have any tips for tanking? I went to tank this for the first time last night and I went in really having no idea what the hell I was doing. We got it down to the marauder moogle but about 50% the king decided it wanted to heal the marauder and then immediately follow up with a burst, wiping half the party. and leaving the other half with no mp to throw a raise or anything. Anyone have any tips for this? My biggest problem is holding hate after the 2 hour on enough of the moogles that they aren't running around beating the living hell out of everyone, and then getting hate back when I lose it on the king.

Only worry about trying to tank the mog king, marauder and thf, the rest don't have to be tanked as they just float around wherever they please.

First night of Moogle, a team of 8 is trying ever so hard to defeat Good King Moggle Mog and his adorable team with eyes on the glorious prize of World 1st. The excitement is only rivaled by the sheer focus demonstrated by each player entering Thornmarch.

After some time the moogles bite the dust one by one, but quicker than a little lalafell can say kupo~, the Moogles rise yet again and summon their King - with a glorious, captivating and devastating Memento. All fluffy hell breaks loose.

Though the valiant team of adventurers manage to best a handful of the rejuvenated Moogles, they suffer their own losses on this cutest of battlefields. Amid all the frantic raises, the team appears to wipe in defeat.

Then, as a glimmer of hope, one adventurer rises with the revitalizing magicks that a comrade had bestowed upon them, whilst the Moogles rejoice in the arrival of their King and the defeat of their enemies. Unbeknownst to them, the lone adventurer realizes the most fortunate of opportunities he finds himself in, and comes to the aid of his fallen comrades ever sneakily.

They turn the tides in Thornmarch, and defeat the Good King and his team.

Moral of the story: Shit happens. Players play to win. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Enemies ignore you if they aggro by sight unless you run into them, raising completely removes you from hate lists, and bosses do not reset under any circumstance. These 3 are also facts.

It's not like the "glitch" is about making a reraise spell appear in your bars. It's not like a dead party remains unkicked after everyone's dead. It's not like the Moogles lose their AI once you re-engage.

You're still following the rules of both the battlefield, and most importantly, the rules of the rest of the world. Weird rules that you've seen in action pretty often.

I find that last part to be a very important one: remember you can do this everywhere: Ifrit, Strongholds, guildleves - anywhere. This battlefield is not special, it's not an anomaly. It's awkward and retarded mechanics at work, and they've been everywhere since the beginning.


Either way, I think you're still talking about intent ("it's not intended to be able to 'reraise' to win the fight"), and I'm not going to rewrite the second part of my post, so I'll just repeat one thing: you've done a lot of things over the last year that were most likely not intended to be done the way you did them, and you haven't cared at all.

You could reword the second part of your quote to talk about virtually most systems and events from this game and it'd still be valid in one way or another.


Just to reiterate, I think this strategy completely cheapens the fight and I'd like to see it removed - I just think you and your friends are taking the wrong approach if you want to see that happen.

Second: Don't even try to claim to be sportsman-like. When your LS came out alive the first time you all walked to where Hood was standing and /danced in our faces. That's not very sportsman-like at all. In fact, that's just plain rude. Also, aren't you claiming right on the front page of your site that you're "trolling" this thread? Apparently dancing is rude and what's with the personal attack :( People type however they want, don't judge. Sorry for going off topic but don't like seeing our fellow ls getting blamed for no reason. Eien no Tomo ls helped our ls (Leon Heart) a few times, raised us and helped us killed NMs for quest, they were really friendly and I'm grateful. Obviously, I didn't set my main character for forums, don't like some of you trolling my main character in game.

I'm pretty sure we had a post on another LS page that was enjoying everyone taunting us and stuff. That's pretty lame, if you ask me.
