sorry for the delay, I've been sick for the past days and busy with a lot of things overall. I would like to refer you to the post #161 from this topic https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...=1#post5710640, looks like it's the same issue. Wrong training values.
I'm hoping someone here has an answer for me. As many before I am having an issue where the Calculator is coming up with stats that are much more different than what my squadron is achieving. I've double checked the training values and I see nothing out of place. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Note that the "many" before that had issues had wrong values put it. It was nothing with the app. I'll check what's going on in that case and come back when I find something.
Respectfully, you shouldn't need a damn calculator to use an in game system. The values shouldn't be that tight.
So, what I see is that the calculator tells you to use a rogue. You use a pugilist. You actually don't have a rogue. You made a mistake while setting your squad. If I change the rogue to a pugilist, I get the exact same result as in-game with this squadron composition.
Hey thanks my bad, not so great with the class symbols. So used to what monk looked like that I just assumed that was for pugilist without checking. I appreciate the response.
I'm going to perform a host change by the end of June, 2022. Once the change will happen, I'll also force the HTTPS protocol for ffxivsquadron.com. This means that your squadron data won't be available again. I recommend that you regularly export your squadron data until you see that your connexion to the site is secured. Once you see this (you'll probably notice the missing squadron data first), you can safely import your squadron again. No precise date yet, I'll do this when I have a moment.
There shouldn't be any significant downtime, but if you experience one in the next days, that'll probably be related.
The migration is done.
If you didn't export your squadron data, you'll have to set them again. If you did, simply import them and you're good to go again.
I haven't really done anything with my squadron, apart from doing the level up training (common one without stat specifics).
Now it wants me to do the level 40 mission thingy and I kleep getting this message from the website app:

What do I do?? I have NO idea what and who to recruit and what else to do. Help?
If you haven't done any stat training then you are missing 240 stats that's +80 for each stats so make sure you do them.
The level 40 flag mission is also quite hard and you might have level up to meet the 315/325/340 requirement.
I think I got it figured out.
I basically had to start over with the stats and then the app showed me which 6 training sessions to do. The last one I can do tomorrow after reset, so then we'll see if it'll let me run the mission.
hi, i've just used the squadron calculator for the first time because i've been having trouble getting all 3 attributes in the green for the level 40 quest. i have 4 squad members over level 40 (they're all 43-45), but i always have 2 attributes green with the third is off by less than 10 points (example: currently it's at 351/315, 327/325, and 332/340. i've done several training sessions to try to even it out, but ones stat is always off by less than 10 points.) since it's off by so little, i've tried running the mission anyway a couple times, but it always fails. i put in my current squad stats and the mission requirements, and even with the max trainings allowed, the calculator is saying this:

i've tried it with all 8 squad members checked and with only the 4 i've been using, and both give the same message. this makes no sense to me, because i definitely do have 2/3 stats matching. am i missing something, or is it just completely wrong?

Hi, don't worry about it! I knew it was a long shot that you would even see this, considering how old this thread is. I never determined what the error was, but I ended up finding a combination that worked on my own, so the only reason to figure out what was going on would be to satisfy your own curiosity. If you do figure it out, I'd be interested to know, but no pressure!

I’m not sure if squadrons are still a thing or if anyone is still using this app, but I’ve been working on a new version for FFXIV Squadron and progress has been good so far. I’m looking for one or two people who would like to perform some testing before I release the new version.
I’m not asking for much, just reporting any issues (like red messages in the console) and using the app to check for discrepancies between the app and in-game values/results, which is the most important part.

Got the new version this morning, existing squad, stats etc were all still there.
Tried to solve a mission.
"Setting up the simulation..." appeared on the right hand side, but that was it. No results ever appeared.
Tried in Firefox, Chrome & Edge - same result.

Edit: Nevermind, it should be fixed now, an issue with recruits with no chemistry. That's a case that was not tested, my test squadron had all 8 chemistries set.

I spoke too soon.
1) command mission xp can't be applied. apply button is active with all squad members active (bug - should be greyed out like training apply button). once you deselect one member, it greys out (correct) and stays greyed out until exactly 3 are selected (correct). however, pushing apply with a value in command mission xp does nothing
2) squadron mission xp can't be applied. apply button is active with all squad members active (bug - should be greyed out like training apply button). once you deselect one member, it greys out (correct) and stays greyed out until exactly 4 are selected (correct). however, pushing apply with a value in squadron mission xp does nothing
3) if you change the level of a squad member, the xp goes to zero (correct) but the max xp for that level remains unchanged (bug). If you refresh the screen, the max xp is displayed correctly
4) I added chemistry to 4 of the 8 squad members, solve no longer works
5) after removing chemistry, tried a solve, max 3 , 1 worker, extended results not ticked.
it gives 20 results, but all 20 only match 2 of the requirements and offer no training suggestions. these should not be shown , rather give the unachievable message like the old version.
if i increase max to 4 , i get 22 results, the first two are correct, have 4 trainings & achieve all requirements, the next 20 have one requirement failing & should not appear.

I'm working on this, should be fixed soon for most of the issues.
Edit: I released a first update to fix some issues. It's possible that some of the issues you encountered were related to the issues with the exp gain. If you continued to use the app without refreshing it after the errors, it's possible that several things broke. I recommend that you check everything again now that I fixed, I hope, the exp issues.
This is something new. 2/3 results with no trainings are always shown now, if no 3/3 are available for a given squadron composition. Extended results will show 2/3 with trainings. The old message no longer exists, unless there's no 2/3, no 2/3 with trainings and no 3/3. 3/3 results will always be above 2/3, you won't have to scroll to find them. If the first results is a 2/3, then you have no 3/3.
The idea is that, with extended results and enough trainings, you should see 70 results (assuming all 8 recruits are allowed in the simulation), 1 result per squadron composition, and if it works as expected, that result should be the best one. Extended results can increase calculation time a lot under specific circumstances, that's why they're an option.
If you don't see any 3/3, that's probably because you can't get a 3/3 with 3 trainings. As you've seen, you need 4 trainings with what you sent to me to get some 3/3 results.
By the way, increasing workers count only reduce calculation time, it doesn't affect the results.

didn't get the failure messages, got the 20 invalid lines again

Edit2: Ok i get what you mean. The message with no results is actually a bug. It should only happen until you change the max trainings value once. I'll have a look, it should display the 20 results.

ok, I think it's working as you expected.
I guess from reading the help , what i expected was that with extended results unticked, it would work as previously. i.e. either a failure message or a list of trainings that would work.

Ok I think I found the issue you were talking about. I wrote maxTranings instead of maxTrainings when initializing the data.
Edit: And by the way, if the 2/3 results with no trainings are disturbing, I can make them an option, just the same as 2/3 with trainings (Extended results).

using the same squad as previously, squadron xp fails to add on any combination of four squad members that includes member number 4.
so 1234 will fail to add xp, but 1235 or 1236 or 1237 or 1238 will work.
same with other groups of 4, if they include member 4, they fail.
Ah yeah, I get it. Same as usual, something tested that worked, then made several changes, and forgot about that something and it broke.
It'll be fixed soon.

Lovely upgrades to the web page!
One suggestion, the chemistry likelihood got moved to a tool tip. I usually scan all the results and choose the ones with 100% (or at least high) likelihood of returning a bonus. Now I have to crawl through the tooltips and try to remember which of the alternatives had the best return. Is it possible to display the percent likelihood without having to hover to see it? The old interface did that by default.
Also, many thanks for this utility, I've leveled 11 squadrons very successfully using it!
I released a small update with a few adjustments:
Note that the Partial Results and Extended Results checkboxes now interact:
- Fixed some details in the dark theme.
- Added the chemistry likelihood value in the results.
- Added a new Partial Results checkbox. This checkbox acts as a show/hide for all 2/3 results:
- If off, no 2/3 results are displayed.
- If on, 2/3 results without trainings are displayed.
- If Extended Results is on, all 2/3 results are displayed.
- Turning off Partial Results will also turn off Extended Results, as extended results cannot work without partial results.
- Turning on Extended Results will automagically turn on Partial Results.
On a side note, my subscription will end soon, and I’m not sure whether I’ll keep playing for now or take a break.
If I do take a break, I won’t be able to post here, but I’ll still be able to read messages.

Hey, so with the latest update it's taking forever to output a result (when it was relatively fast before), even using 8 workers. I can leave it for several minutes, then have it end simulation, and it says it had progressed 0% and didn't generate any results. I'm having the "Partial results" checkbox ticked. I'm also on Firefox in case that might be relevant.
Edit: just tried it on Edge and same issue.
