New Emotes you would like to see?

Yes please, but also can we have the option to command a minion to stand at a certain position(stationary), so that players on the server can see it as well?

I'm sure these have been requested already but here are some more.

Can we have an emote showing ourselves playing a musical instrument.
Can we have a nap emote where we lay down on the ground and sleep.
How about some persistent yoga/exercise emotes.
Just some food for thought, what do you all think.

More emotes that are race and job specific. Oh and facepalm, make facepalm a priority please =D

There need to be much much more emotes to vent frustration at rng. There also needs to be emote for cross-popping veins to show you are angry. Cold sweat emote with sweat drops is absolute must for those close rng calls. Also job specific emote to act like a madman for short while when emotion bucket starts to spill over :).

Damn i would love emote for backslap to head for "shut-up" and mentor like "enough goofin' around".

They need to integrate similar system to chat alert sounds to make different animations for when you do your speech animation. Say you do inspirational speech you add <speech.1> or you do angry comment you add <speech.2> and so on...... and for every variant there is different hand motions and face expression, like - happy, sad, smug, angry, begging, raving, proud, humble, devious, bragging, etc etc.... roleplayers would go to heaven for that, but such simplicities would realy liven up the casual interactions

/longfacepalm or /bigpicard would probably solve all of these issues imo

I would like to have the jugglers emote. If not sure go to Ul'dah and you will see a lala juggling near the dancers and the race glamour vendor. You can also see the video below the juggling NPC is around the 36 sec mark.:cool:

I would like the emote that a lot of NPCs have where they stand around and fan themselves with their hand. Not only can you express how hot you are, but in particularly bad runs you can fan away the BS from some people.

Pretty sure the victory poses for SMN/SCH do this, and I doubt it could be done any other way (unless we get a whole cycle of class specific sit animations)

/lockhands emote, where your targeted character holds hands with you. Which is then accepted with a approval from the other. Then its like a follow option you drag the person with you.

How about /flex? Would be funny if you were to show off your lalamuscles.

Battle stance and victory pose were a nice touch, how about more? A mnk doing some shadowboxing with their weapon out, a mch reloading their gun or making adjustments to it, a drk sticking their sword blade first in to the ground and leaning on the handle or sitting next to it, or a pld sitting down with their shield and sword across their lap. To add on to this I would love to see something like DRK's sharpening their swords with a whetstone, NIN's doing some fancy flippy tricks with their daggers, or PLD's checking out their own reflection in their shields. Job specific emotes that adds to the style they portray would go a long way me thinks.

I totally second this idea, but I wonder how it would work when you have a reeeeally tall character, and a really tiny lalafell. xP

We already see our character do the animation in 3.2's story. Just clip out that bit and call it done. It'd be cool to have it interact with mugs, cups or bottles in your house too.

I'd like a sinking emote... or just a minion or housing rug that allows you to create a fun quicksand pool causing people to do a sinking animation if they stand still on it for a moment.

Please come with the Tidus fanfest costume! I know /laugh exists but if it came with the voice clip it'd be perfect. I don't take this request seriously but, man, that'd be great fanservice if they did something like this.
