Dude that's way better than my version:
/p Open the door and get off the floor! <t> walk the Dinosaur
/ac raise <t>
/p reminder this is a raise macro
I'm so stealing yours

Mine for AST:
<t>, you must have been a Dragoon in your past life. <Asend>
xD
Mine is...
"You shouldn't eat stuff off the floor, Kay?" (Casting raise on <t>)
I may love Lymle.
well my Rez goes along something like this " Hey <t> guess what, you can't die intill I say you can! I'm the whm not one messes with the WHM!!!!!!!!" Or for smn" Hey lightning-sama give <t> your will to defy fate and fight again!"
Mine is "We can rebuild <t>, we have the technology. Auto-translate Resurecction." Some people seem to like it, but I think for some people it goes over their heads :p
"Rise from your grave, <t>"

this guy's macro
I'm a SMN so: "I'm not a WHM, but I play one on TV."
Warning this macro is known to trigger snowflakes and bad players, you have been warned
/micon Raise
/ac Swiftcast
/wait .5
/ac Raise
Shiiiit dead again <t>? Damn.. Fuckin A! i need better gear just to keep your ass off the floor! <se.11>
it is a rather snarky macro making use of sarcasm among other tools
/p BEHOLD! THE POWER OF FRUIT, <t> !
I shamelessly borrowed mine from Kill Bill 2 >_>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTzf_yU9tNs
Now playing: Taylor Swiftcast - Ascend (ft. Player Name)
I stopped using such long raise macros myself but here's one from a friend that I find hilarious.
"If I knew I had to raise <t> I would have asked for child support!"
Mine is "Good news everyone! I've discovered a way to bring <t> back from the dead, and it's a suppository!"
I seen someone with " insert coin" in a dungeon earlier. I loled.
The power of these macros so hard, them have resurrected even this thread!
even thou I don't use healer's classes as much, if at all, anymore here's the marco they still have:
/ac "a-raise-spell"
/p Hero's never die! (Rasing <t>)
Don't have 1 for SMN thou as I only resently decided to take it & SCH past lv34
Mine has been the same since I started "<t> Insert Coin to continue"
I got someone in my party yesterday using (single line) “your spiritbond with the floor is now complete” and I thought it was funny. Doubly so because I was the healer getting an emergency raise from a summoner.
Making light of the situation is fine, insults are not.
"why... didnt... you... DOOOOODGEE"
https://youtu.be/gRCZX9rW8_c?t=1m9s
Why? Why would you do this? This thread was dead an buried and now, thanks to you, we're going to get a whole slew of "funny" raise macros again.
Raise macros are important, but "funny" macros are almost never actually funny. Even the ones that are genuinely funny are funny a maximum of one time, before their repetition just makes them annoying.
I use one of 2 lines for my healer/summoner ress macro.
Quote:
/p <t>: Healers why didn't you adjust!? My bad! Resurrection
I tend to use the top one more.Quote:
/p You cannot escape that easily <t>! Time to Raise yourself from the grave and Ascend into Stormblood! Resurrection incoming!
And for RDM due to the dualcast mechanic involved, I went for this instead (it's not shared with the other healers).
Quote:
/p Ver... what now? Stop the DPS! Going for the Verraise on <t>.
"Sending holy energies in all of <t>'s secret places. Click Accept to consent"
"If resurrecting <t> is wrong, then I don't want to be right"
"I don't have time for your forbidden affair with the floor, <t>. You can have your love child with it after this run."
At least for now it's /p "New year, new you!"
Well, you don't have to read the macro again if it isn't funny for you anymore. Funny or not, it serves a purpose: Let the other people raising who the hell you're bringing back to life. Also, it's not like you'll get paired up with the same people over and over in duties, lol. As Lalaru said, well... then don't die (Not directed to YOU specifically, but you in general.)
*Steals ideas btw*
A friend of mine had a raise macro that he purposely made to look like gil spam. He ended up getting a talking to by a GM even though it was completely fake. (It was genius though).
I think its important for smn and rdm to have raise macros but mostly smn because they have no substantial heals they can give to the rezzed player, and so its good to let the healers know.
My old one for smn was simply:
Summoner Raise, please have heals ready for <t>.
My new one is:
I'm sorry <t>, that's incorrect. Please get up and try again. <negative sound effect>
If you're a ranged Caster, [Mana Shift] is my standard fee. [Refresh] for you bards / mch's.
" Game over please press start to continue." Or " Lucky for you this game doesn't have a 3 live system " Or " RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!" God I love my friend's marcos makes me feel all old and fuzzy inside.
I probably have this somewhere in the thread, but mine is just "Walk it off, <t>". It's really just to let my co-raisers know I've got that person so we aren't trying to raise the same person and wasting GCDs.
I am not a healer and I don't plan on using, but someone should totally use this /p reviving <t> "Has gone limp, getting them back up now!", or something along those lines...hahahaha
Oh and another one could be something along the lines of "Fine, here's my power! but Kakarot, KILL EM NOWWWWW!!!!"
<t>, You are not my child but I shall <Raise> you as my own.
I might just cut it out of my macro because I get tired of seeing it a lot, but for my RDM it says "Ver-rise and shine! We still need you!"
Alright, min goes
"Sorry, <target>, I know you want to fill out your Floors Log, but we gotta get going!"
