You might think that DragonFlyy but a GM once spoken to me about my raise macro after someone put a complaint in so it can be seen as harassment and my macro isn't actually that bad.

That problem is because people are easily offended by something, or offended everytime.

well my Rez goes along something like this " Hey <t> guess what, you can't die intill I say you can! I'm the whm not one messes with the WHM!!!!!!!!" Or for smn" Hey lightning-sama give <t> your will to defy fate and fight again!"

Mine is "We can rebuild <t>, we have the technology. Auto-translate Resurecction." Some people seem to like it, but I think for some people it goes over their heads :p

I stopped using such long raise macros myself but here's one from a friend that I find hilarious.

"If I knew I had to raise <t> I would have asked for child support!"

Mine is "Good news everyone! I've discovered a way to bring <t> back from the dead, and it's a suppository!"

I seen someone with " insert coin" in a dungeon earlier. I loled.

Raise macros are important, but "funny" macros are almost never actually funny. Even the ones that are genuinely funny are funny a maximum of one time, before their repetition just makes them annoying.

I think is more annoying the people dying multiple times in same duty.

I use one of 2 lines for my healer/summoner ress macro.

Well, you don't have to read the macro again if it isn't funny for you anymore. Funny or not, it serves a purpose: Let the other people raising who the hell you're bringing back to life. Also, it's not like you'll get paired up with the same people over and over in duties, lol. As Lalaru said, well... then don't die (Not directed to YOU specifically, but you in general.)

I actually saw someone in Rabanastre use this one for their Raise Macro. (S)he had to use it quite a bit during that run. Apparently, almost everyone in the party was 1 day away from retirement... (^_^; ) lol

A friend of mine had a raise macro that he purposely made to look like gil spam. He ended up getting a talking to by a GM even though it was completely fake. (It was genius though).

I think its important for smn and rdm to have raise macros but mostly smn because they have no substantial heals they can give to the rezzed player, and so its good to let the healers know.

My old one for smn was simply:
Summoner Raise, please have heals ready for <t>.

My new one is:
I'm sorry <t>, that's incorrect. Please get up and try again. <negative sound effect>

If you're a ranged Caster, [Mana Shift] is my standard fee. [Refresh] for you bards / mch's.

" Game over please press start to continue." Or " Lucky for you this game doesn't have a 3 live system " Or " RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!" God I love my friend's marcos makes me feel all old and fuzzy inside.

I probably have this somewhere in the thread, but mine is just "Walk it off, <t>". It's really just to let my co-raisers know I've got that person so we aren't trying to raise the same person and wasting GCDs.

I am not a healer and I don't plan on using, but someone should totally use this /p reviving <t> "Has gone limp, getting them back up now!", or something along those lines...hahahaha

Oh and another one could be something along the lines of "Fine, here's my power! but Kakarot, KILL EM NOWWWWW!!!!"

I know a few people like that one (as it’s been posted a few times so far) but it doesn’t work for me. The pun feels a bit too forced and it doesn’t fit the situation of reviving someone in battle.

I might just cut it out of my macro because I get tired of seeing it a lot, but for my RDM it says "Ver-rise and shine! We still need you!"
