If given the option to pay, would you?

You guys are such battered housewives...

First off I never said I don't like the game. If I didn't like the game I wouldn't be here. What I said is that there is not much in the game (functional or not) to warrant paying for it. I'm sorry I refuse to spend money on an MMO that occupies about 5-6 hours of my week at best.

That is the sad state of this game. There are still bugs and flaws within the game that have been there since its inception - completely overlooked. That is NOT something you pay for or should be condoning. You shouldn't be promoting bad performance - you should be telling them I'm not playing till X, Y, Z happens. Doing otherwise is harmful to the business. You think you're helping but you're not.

Secondly, I will reiterate what I mentioned in the last page cause it seems to have been missed.

This game is now 8 months (?) into its lifespan and still only has about 30% of the content that Rift (released in Feb-Mar) and TERA (which is beta) has. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!

I wouldn't pay yet. I played FFXI a lot and had a lot of fun with it and so it justified paying it monthly. At the moment I don't really get enthused about even logging in sometimes and when I do, the boredom does set in a bit too quickly. I can't justify paying for this monthly at the moment but after combat/class changes maybe.

Because the game is free and is technically a beta - I spend some time on it... but if I had to pay for this - I would not be here.

Hell no. This game in its current state isn't even good enough for me to play without a sub fee. I have hope the game will get good, but wow they released this crap 2 years too soon. I don't bother leveling anything like most while waiting for it to get good because I want to actually have fun while doing it.

And you aren't playing Rift because..:?

I mean really, if you want a game to be your 2nd job and stay up till 3am go ahead, there's a huge selection already. Even FFXI is still here.

This game was designed for the casual players. I appreciate that MMOs reach out to as many audiences as they can, but they are not all made to have people playing till they are half dead.

that's my thinking as well. we both want the game to get better. we just have different opinions on what we feel better is. i have no problems with differing opinions as long as the game gets better in the long run. imo i'd love to see content that gives us both what we want in the long run because the more people they make happy the more successful the game is in the long run.

Lmao! Wow, I guess I'm gonna shock you when I say I like 14. I will play 14 now and in the future. I will pay for 14. All the issues about the game have already been brought up and most SE has let us know they are working on. At this point it's just people saying the same ole same ole. The people that don't like 14 are not gonna pay and it's just useless to feel that they will. They are posting the same spout of hate that's already been brought up and addressed.
