If given the option to pay, would you?

Given that extra money would help pay to fix this this game would you pay if they made it optional at this time? I rarely play but if I played as often as many here do and cared as much as people say they do on here I would glady do so.

How many would pay if they didn't actually have to? given that doing so as I say would improve the quality of it. Added to that if you play it regular and care about it how could you justify not paying for it under these circumstances.

I think Square should either allow optional payment or a paypal system to see just how much people really care about the game or are just sticking around for cheap entertainment.

Maybe not but you can definaltely see the work-force isn't that big on this game, for a company as big as Square that is rather suprising.

More than anything it would be a show of real support that enough of the players acually believe in the game enough to put some money down, instead of just getting a free ride.

Edit: I wouldn't pay for this game yet for sure, there's a hell of a lot to be done. Perhaps around August it'll be acceptable but until then, no way.

Square Enix Revenues over a billion dollars a year. And Internally have already invested more assets into XIV to get it into acceptable/awesome status. But things take time and SE has the ability to withstand the time. They just have to spend more money on marketing once the game is deemed ready. If they do all this work then fail at marketing the changes no one will buy it.
