I like the market wards

The Market Wards are ok, there really isnt a need of AH as of now and in the future., But we sure do need a central MW thou.

*Player gets his/her spear and crafter gets his/her gil*

Maybe you can even have the option to name who wants to buy said item.

BTW this is a great idea but I wanna tweak it a little: you search for an item you want in the wards, you find its sold out, you can then click it and seek item at a given price of your choice and it'll show up in your retainer - a crafter runs by and sees it just found himself some work, he makes the item for you, sells it to your retainer and you come back later and you have that item. This is honestly the best idea anyone has come up with so far with regards to the wards.

Or we can just buy stuff from the item search counter and save us all a lot of time.

And yeah, I'm surprised no one on the development team even thought of this. Kind of surprising, but at the same time (hearing how to market wards were in the past) not that surprising.

Ok ok! I'll say my 2 cents about that...

so uh... Heya!

As my impression, I find the Market Wards a good implementation. It actually feels like going to someone and buy stuff. The only problems I see about the MW are the fact that you can't search on every MW in Eorzea (maybe Ishgard will solve it?) and... well, that's pretty much everything. They solved the problems about the MW crashing and resetting the retainers.

I can see things only getting better. Regarding performance, I see times of loading when exchanging objects with retainers pretty slow, and the time it takes for exchanging can be tweaked.

So, in a brief list of tweaks:

1. Exchange menu loading slow
2. Exchanging slow
3. When the screen is loading, there's focus on the Retainer's list. After it's loaded, the focus passes to the Player's list and after some time it passes again to the Retainer's. I'd fix the focus on the Retainer's list.

Ahh alright, just wanted to make sure I had not offended anybody ;) I have had my fair share of forums, and I try to avoid conflict wherever I post. Otherwise you have a 245243 page post full of flaming and trolling where good ideas should have been.

Anyhow, glad you think we share the sameish viewpoints :) hopefully SE will take them into account in the future!
