What "I" Would Like to See Return from 1.0

What do you mean by "taxing pets?"

Are they "taxing" your system or just causing trouble with targeting/other?

Skirmish. Hamlets. Difficulty. Gear with enhancement stats to abilities. Be able to switch in and out gear during battle. Ability to change class inside dungeons. Person specific chests after defeating primals. A token system to acquire primal weapons like in 1.0. But with better drop rates. Anima which once depleted will regen slowly like in 1.0 but we could then pay gil for ports while waiting for it to regen. Make fishing profitable. Implement gardening. Furnishure for our inn rooms. Story line quests derived from the grand companies, not some bogus story line that has nothing to do with the GC. As it is now, GC's play a very small role in this game. Open World NM's. Grind option for parties, FATES suck. Take away the 'tiered' restrictions to end game. It creates more conflict than anything else amidst the community.

I want my Path Companion to return, as well as certain other 1.0 Tanaka storyline characters and their quests. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I still think there's atleast a little demand.

no no, I mean it's extra stress on the server, the "tax" / load they put unto the servers could have been used on 1.0 poly count. Armors look like crap up close unlike in 1.0

Pet's shouldn't have even been an idea to begin with. 1.0 was 2010, tech has changed a bit in 3 years

Ah, I see your point.

I agree that they shouldn't have added an element that puts undue stress on the servers at the cost of features from 1.0 that players actually liked, but at the same time I can see why they added them.
SE wanted to attract the "pokemon" crowd, those people who like collecting things, because it would ultimately boost subscriptions and players. Plus there's a huge following of people who don't currently play MMOs that love certain Final Fantasy monsters/characters (example: Cait Sith).

I would like to see a way for us to go through the original story put forth in 1.0. A lot of players, like myself, who chose to stick with FFXI instead of FFXIV missed out on it and simply watching it on Youtube doesn't even really feel like an option. Time hijinks were a core aspect of an FFXI expansion, being thrown back in time to play through 1.0 seems just as plausible.

Give us back faction leves and the possibility to get a 100.000 gil reward leve ^^

An option to choose between 1.0's "List" system for item organization and 2.0's "Icon" organization.

Currently 2.0's system leaves much to be desired in the way of organizing items and picking out pieces of gear for classes/jobs quickly.

A FFXIV version on FFXI: Wings of the Goddess or a Conquest system. A Ballista system?

FFXIVs open dungeons with no zone-lines, that is all. Thank you.
