Why so adamant on keeping the Market Place?

As I said, that was before the search function. Several have stated they are fine with it now that it has a search function.

Your opening argument relies largely on that the majority want it, but you don't have any solid proof to back that up. You would have to run a new poll to make such a statement.

You are, as already stated. Moreover, even if it was true (and it isn't) that "There are no benefits for a MW over an AH", "not having benefits" is no reason to scrap a system and replace it with another.
Scrapping a system just because "it has no benefits" over another is simply a waste of resources, and I shouldn't need to explain it.

Ok, baby steps with you it seems: you said "with an AH you have to open and collapse windows", and I said "you have to do that with bazaars too" so in fact I refuted your argument and its you who hasn't come up with anything better so you've retorted to trying to turn it on me. You're new argument (quoted above) is even worse than the first. Yes, you're right, you have to search for categories and switch categories with AH but with the MW you have to do that AND run and warp to other wards...what a compelling argument you've made, you've convinced me (that was sarcasm).

People don't understand "resources" its like teaching them personal responsibility, its impossible. Most people think if you can make a game you can scrap it at any moment, and redo it, and it should be done yesterday. That's just blatant bull, what are you in the "tea party", such ridiculousness, with hidden conspiracies as to why SE is purposely trying to make this game suck (sort of a joke). Honestly the Wards were an idea they had, it costs more money (REAL LIFE MONEY, I know some people on this forum think money grows on trees, but it doesn't.), to scrap the MW, than it costs to just improve the market wards. But of course you people who want the MW scrapped an AH put in, don't care about the money and time and effort those people lost, when the system they have isn't that bad, you guys are seriously just haters, for the sake of hating, with no expertise on the subject at all.

Well the way I see it (not sure if it's been mentioned. I think I read everything) retainers have one thing that the AH can't have. That is a lot of extra storage space for all the crap you don't want to sell or keep on you. Agreed, there are other ways of implementing it, but as it stands now, that's what they offer. I also see worlds of things that retainers could do for you in the future. They can have the much needed delivery system built into them, but then that would mean you'd have to have one to use said system. They can literally be your liaison for almost anything you would like to have done while you're out adventuring. Retainer functionality is not limited to the buying and selling of goods, as is an auction house.

Once again people being vague, what am I missing exactly? And once again I'll say that SE is still working on the MW, so they have resources allocated to it already, those same ones can be doing something else like making an AH for instance. So we rule out resources because as much as some of you think it would take about 50% of the crew to make an AH, I somehow doubt that so that's not the reason why SE went with retainers. And just explain to me how a system shouldn't be scrapped if its clearly inferior to another one that can be readily available? hypothetically speaking of course, say we can have an AH *right this minute* and the AH is more beneficial than the MW, would you still not want it?

Well that's all true but that has nothing to do with the MW themselves. Retainers can stay with or without the wards. I honestly think the only reason SE is holding onto the MW is so they can charge us extra for additional retainers in the future and that's what I want to know. If they have a better reason for them, then I'm all ears, but nothing anyone has said in this topic in favor of MW is very convincing.
