I like the gear style in this game...
But I really dislike the choices we have for mages. We definately need more gear like the Vanya set.

However the Bard AF design for males is odd, so I hope they make better designs in ARR.

I just hope they add lower level Haubergeons back, I'm sick of having to wait until 43 to equip one. (Not counting the plundered gear, I mean gear we can craft/color and not spend 15 hours farming a chest to get a 3% chance at it dropping from another chest.) Also, please add lancer back to the plate gear. ._.

Although I wish there was more Final Fantasy-like armor (minus the zippers n' belts tyvm), there's still some gear I really like; doublets, tabards, and bliauds are my favorites.

The only thing I don't like about XIV's existing gear is the color options. Velveteen pieces had the best colors, but... Sea green, bright red, and white FTW.

That's exactly why I avoided wearing Seer's Cowl and use /display head off with most helmets and other hats. Nope, not a fan of that ear-rection either.

But on females ...yum! :D the only fashion i want in FFXIV is miqotes showing a lot of skin :D me being a Lalafell takes full advantage of that..and no its not an exploit

Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XIV look similar in style because of Akihiko Yoshida. He was the lead artist on FFXII, and is the Art Director for FFXIV.
