We're kind of missing an obvious move-here-now marker (or I forgot its existence), room-wide donuts don't exactly work for that mechanic because there's no "safe zone" with those unless all three platforms are stacked.
Might've been best to just not have an added marker there and let people figure out that the earthquake doesn't hit you when you're not on the ground on their own, at worst that should be a single wipe if the majority of the raid aren't jaded veterans that know what to do anyways.

Not going to lie, people do the stack mechanic wrong down the road and wonder why they die. The mechanic should hurt way more if they are double or triple stack the mechanics for Xande’s fight. Some may think otherwise, but it would save problems later on.

If they are not going to adjust damage there, tighten up the max ilevel for those CT raids.

Crystal Tower raids should be redone and made into eight-person duty. Then be added into the MSQ Roulette. Coils should be made into 4-person duty and add into MSQ roulette to.

Can we stop suggesting utter and complete lobotomization of content for the sake of accessibility or simply not liking the current state?

Asking Raids meant to be for 24 players and 8 players respectively, in boss room size and mechanics both, to be cut down to 8 and 4 player duties respectively and nailing them onto MSQ roulette status is a terrible idea. Those duties are not comparable to the mandatory, cutscene heavy dungeons and trials - the stuff the MSQ roulette is for.

The best solution for Lv50 Alliance Raids is rescaling the HP and damage values to more reasonable points. For Coils and by extension older Savage fights there simply needs to be additional incentivisation to complete them in a synced state when new expansions are out.

Heck, would be a wild ride but might as well make a Savage Roulette, purely to test the waters, even that is a better idea than lobotomizing old content. (and before anyone ostracizes me or says its a bad idea - you are welcome to not queue it and leave the heavy lifting for those that want it)

The reason doubled stack mechanics later in the game kill people who are in both stacks is typically because they apply a 1~5s vulnerability on hit, making the second stack lethal even when there are enough people to split the damage.

Aye that's it. E12 you can also share stacks as it also doesn't give them.

Ilvl sync should be a decent enough bandaid for this content. I believe in seeing Daybreak once again.

E12N has healer stacks that can overlap. I think E7N, SoS, Golbez, P9N, O9N have multiple stacks. I know E7S stacks can overlap, not sure about E7N. There’s also Hero’s gauntlet but that’s not really a party stack.

On the topic, I’ve been leaving alliance roulettes when CT pops because I would prefer to play the game. Would love to see CT and the ilvl sync system get reworked.

Why would you still be there to see chat go off? If i accidently que for alliance and get dumped into CT and someone ELSE eats the penalty before i can? You bet your bottom dollar im gonna be gone before you can register that theres a vacancy in the alliance. At this point i dont even think a rework could get me to want to que into CT again. Ruined by overexposure. But if you put it in a separate roulette, id be happy to go back to queing for 60/70/80/90 alliances several times per week. Some of those fights are fun, and the rest are at least tolerable.

It's always been a stacking mechanic with shared damage. They changed the telegraph to make it more in-line with the rest of the game. If you take the marker far away, which many new players do on their first run if it targets them, it's an insta death unless they're crit-shielded.

In the very same vein, I also find it funny players who cry and whine in party/alliance chat when they got dragged into Ivalice/Nier raids because I specifically queue into those.
