I love how OP said one thing and then just eased back into the shadows to watch you all tear each other apart.
It's amazing it seems to work exactly 100% of the time.
i think this is them all so far

you're completly right and i hate you for it
Yall loved naked Ryne as a mechanic though. What changed?
Oh right, this time it's about LGBT stuff so it's convenient.
whoever loved that needs a serious dose of the police
okay this 1 is clearly just you pushing your agenda onto peoples opinions, nobody has anything against lgbtq. but i want it to be genuine, not shoehorned in... as a pansexual i find it insulting to constantly be represented in a way that feels politically motivated and not authenticQuote:

this ship is as thin as paper i swear... all they ever did was have coffe biscuits together and be friends... a stage which apparently is skipped if your deep into shipping culture enough. If we were animuu characters people would already be shipping us because im being a tsun-tsun with you

This.
MOST people don't have a problem with a gay character. They have a problem with a GAY character. That is, a character whose entire story, character arc, and every appearance mentions that he's gay like your friend who just became a vegan mentioning they're a vegan at every opportunity.
A well written, complex, and interesting character with an engaging story arc can be gay, straight, bi, asexual, or whatever. It's when their sexuality is front and center, to the point of stepping all over any character they otherwise have, that it ruins them. This is true of any ideological or political or religion based characters. These things being a part of a character is fine, and good when done well, but this being THEIR ENTIRE character is near universally reviled and they become a "token X" character that isn't in the story to be a part of it, they're in a story to rub people's faces in it.
Even in the case of Dion, more prudish people could pretend they were "just really good friends". The game never outright insists that they ARE gay, we don't see them sleeping together, and Dion doesn't make him being gay central to the plot. It isn't even mentioned by his father ("Your litter brother is now emperor because I know you won't give me an heir because you love men!" or the like). It's treated as an aspect of his character, not his whole character. Just like in real life, gay men are more than just "I sleep with other dudes". FF16's writers got that right with Dion, and made him an overall good character who's also a badass. Him being gay is just part of his character, not an overpowering entirety of it.
EDIT:
Oh, btw, this is also true of all other sexualities, too. No one wants to see a straight couple mentioning how they're straight and sucking face in every cutscene.
Also also: Yes, yes, I know who OP is. Doesn't change the above. :)
What bait? I didn’t even say I care about this ship. But for some the story ending with a huge rainbow crystal was on the nose. It’s enough to speculate and I could take it or leave it.
I more had a problem with you thinking anyone innocently discussing a relationship in a narrative has issues, when it’s more you who has issues as you wrote.
Let's brag about our sexuality, apparently it's the only valuable trait people have nowdays.
I know you didn't ask for it
But i'm gonna be entitled like the rest here and force it in your face:
I'm Straight/Heterosexual
I'm pretty sure Dion and the other guy kiss at some point. It's a bit hard to pretend it's just friends. And the in-game description states plainly they are lovers.
I don't really care - as long as they don't pat themselves on the back and have marketing campaigns around it. Like "we have a gay!" lol
