I really wish I cared you dont believe me and my sexuality, but thank you for your input
I thought LGBTQA+ wants to be regard and accepted as normal people.
Normal people don't feel the need to be represented, so I guess this group of people only want special treatment.
Doesn’t mean it’s forced. Maybe they really wanted such characters. There’s no reason to not have a few LGBTQ+ characters. Some people seem to want to hide them forever. Sheesh! I guess ancient greeks were forced to depict homosexuality in their art. Creators should be free to put or not LGBTQ content in their games and it should be a non issue.
Actually they are represented constantly. It looks more like some people want them to be represented exclusively. Also funny you call them “normal”. LGBTQ+ is part of life and their representation shouldn’t be controversial. That should be at the discretion of the creators of the game.
So they went from having barely any to multiple all of a sudden because they "wanted" it ? Big doubt there, especially considering where SE is from. Also pretty sure no one has anything agaisnt them being implemented, as long as its not put in people's faces, and also forced in. A la "MY HUSBAND LEFT ME IM A LONE MAN PLEASE GO AND GET HIM FOR ME I NEED MY HUSBAND" which is basically how its implemented right now in this game, it literally is pushed that they are lgbt instead of just leaving it alone, there is no need to go in detail and be like "yeah see guys they are lgtq !"
Basically this tbh, its not genuine one bit.
Maybe they weren’t represented (or when there was representation, it was rather timid) because there was censorship and things are starting to change.
I do agree that in some cases it is tokenism like in some of those uninspired and uninspiring fetch quests ( still, after all, why not?) but not always. Anyway, that’s not what I am talking about. It’s about the creative process and there should be freedom in that regard. You can have well fleshed out characters and a good story where the writer really wanted such characters, not just for the sake of having an LGBTQ+ character but because that’s how they imagined it. Depicting LGBTQ+ characters should not be controversial.
Sure, but not at the cost for the sake of it. Too bad it's almost always poorly executed.
Did you just assume the gender and sexuality of characters on screen? I find it offensive. Maybe that sweet housewife identify as male and "he" happens to be homosexual.Quote:
