If I weren't married and didn't want to leave my wife, I absolutely would if it weren't for the immortal thing. I want to die a natural death when my time comes. That being said, I did design my WoL specifically with the idea of being zapped into the game world. Being in Eorzea with all my WOL's resources and having wife, pets, and in-game friends with me is something I mull over often.

The first thing I'd do would be to freak out at what had just happened, teleport to my apartment, and have a good old fashioned mental breakdown.

So I get to go from a world where I can't afford a house due to government and corporate corruption to a world where I can't get a house due to developer disinterest/incompetence

Tough choice.

You do have access to inn rooms in the Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah, Gridania, Ishgard, Kugane, the Crystarium, and Sharlayan for free. (ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

Well...obviously no. Everyone is an NPC? So I live in a world where EVERYONE else but me just stands in one place and will repeat the same line of dialog? I;m the ONLY sentient creature on the planet? No. Absolutely not.

He clarified that the NPCs become real people, but they're mortal so they can die unlike you

Then I guess my next question is would procreate even be a thing? If not then my answer still stands. If they function exactly like us then sure why not.
