I actually just noticed they're joking and they got me good. I've just seen so many people say this stuff unironically-

One of the things thus game lacks is proper Midcore content and the only thing crippling it are the dev's bad habit of carrying players who don't want to learn how to play the game. The Easy and Very Easy modes in Instanced Duties are blatant evidence of that, plus the way certain jobs have been gutted to the point of being almost useless in group content or overturned to the point they can solo group content on their own (Tanks and Healers).
Other than that, it's a good game. The devs just need to learn to not lean so much into catering to casuals and make things more balanced between casual and haddcore content so we can finally get some proper Midcore content in this game and players who refuse to learn how to play the game are actually forced to do so, otherwise they cannot progress through the content they like.
Okay, so lets just take a minute here. You don't like the story, and you don't like the combat. The combat is literally a tab target mmo and unless there is something a bit more specific in there than the better question is why are you playing this game to begin with? Did you just get forced into it or something?
You want to see bad, how about Infestation: Survival Stories, Allods Online, Dungeons and Dragons online, Black Desert Online (sorry PVP lovers but this game is absolutely bad...), Shroud of the Ripoff... I mean shroud of the Avatar, and of course Marvel Heroes online, because nothing beats a game that revamped basically every game system it had, released on two consoles, and then closed down a few months afterwards.
Sorry but FFXIV is a solid game that has some issues, not a bad game. And saying the combat is worse than some of the games mentioned above has got to be the worst ignorance I've seen in ages.
Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention Tree of Savior. It was supposed to be a spiritual successor to Ragnarok online and then it turned out to be a crappy WoW clone.
