No you do not. Entitled opinions sure, yet if based on grounds of nothingness and coming from a place without good experience/reasoning/logic? and you're also in the minority? pretty difficult to take you serious. Another post of yours state " I barely see any difference at all " between Pre6.1 and Post6.1 SAM, combined with the content you admit doing? shows a lack of experience and expertise to our beloved Job. And that's fine, it means you enjoy SAM or any job without knowing or wanting to understand how to actually play them.
Yet... To insult and over-generalize every feedback most Samurai's post with quote the followingAnd admitting in indulging how much players do not like the changes? Respect goes ways and you clearly do not respect others input who have more experience and play the job with a lot more passion then you do. Not everyone is a meta slave no, or cares about the big numbers either like myself.
- Stubborn fools
- Meta slaves
- Unrelenting & yet cringy,
Your Main Argument point
Enjoying Simplicity, Samurai was to hard apparently and you didn't want to lift a finger to understand how the job properly works? while advocating against everyone else who is against simplification of the game. Maybe Samurai or for that matter any Job at that point is indeed to difficult for you.
Then I will share one of your quotes from one of your former post
and advice you to self reflect on it, very carefully.
The problem is that they dont listen to players feedback and dont play their own game (SAM/MCH/Healers changes says a lot about it).
They CAN do a great job, just look at PvP direction, is simple, funny, every job is unique and works very well but in PvE they are losting the point of ''what is fun for the players?'' or ''what they want??''
DRG is actually very fun and straightforward job, the only changes that i want to see is about the buffs and nothing else.
Seeing what they did on SAM i am really scared of that DRG changes...
Well stated and sums up my perspective on the issue to every detail.
Taking interaction out of the game in the first place is a silly approach.
Taking the core interaction out of the SAM class and pretending it would be any where near engaging after seems like like it was inspired by a fevered dream.
Thanks for the assist. SE asked for feedback and the overwhelming census is not only in direct opposition to your perspective, but it has been communicated in far greater detail with actual reasoning, and done with a much less condescending tone.
That said, what could be said has been said so whats important now is to keep the topic relevant. Childish trolling is easy to dismiss for what it is (and in SE's eyes, likely only goes to discredit your own perspective)
Thank you for the topic bump. We need to keep it up until SE reverts their changes or actually designs the class in a positive direction.
Yeah, I upgraded from ps4 to ps5 and still use a controller to play. I only have a keyboard to type in the chat.
I'm actually one of the folks that wishes we still had several other abilities and certain actions be consolidated and transformed by active effects throughout the rotation. I understand pruning may be a necessity at times, but the pruning should be done where it truly matters. As of yet, we the audience don't truly know why the specific pruning to SAM has happened and that uncertainty has left many of us scared for what could be done to the rest of the game.
I'm pretty sure that is the reason for all the visceral responses to you. It's akin to punching the wasp nest essentially.
No need,
Nor do I have anything to hide,
I made my point & it upset most players, it’s all subjective after all.
Needlessly speaking its a wonder how people react
Also, well done on proving to the entire forum you are incapable of seeing a topic from any perspective other then your own.
I wonder who really sounds more selfish/self centered...
The people providing feedback to the company that asked for feed back, in relation to a product the people pay for and enjoy...
Or the person that tells the overwhelming majority that 'what they take issue with' is foolish and cringy and none of them are even correct in the first place because you think things are fine and actually better now...
So yes, we understand you think the world revolves around yourself... You made that perfectly clear... But regardless... You are objectively wrong. I get you may just want to play a button mashing game where your brain never has to engage..
But clearly the majority of the thinking player base actually enjoys being engaged with what they are doing and already felt that the job was easy to navigate through already and taking away from that made 'navigating' not even a requirement to play the job...
Its perfectly fine for you to have the opinion of wanting a extremely easy and mindless game. If that's your preference, that's your prerogative... But telling other people that they are wrong, or belittling them for their own opinion when your own is so simplistic and blissfully unaware... Only reflects back poorly on you. A different approach to the topic may do wonders to not invalidate your own post to such a degree as you have done here...
That said. Keep those post bumps going. We probably need to keep it up till 6.2
Guys, I think you all should tone down the vitriol here. Dude has an opinion and it differs from ours. Getting heated is just reinforcing him to defend himself.
Leave it be. We have our own opinions is all.
I hope the changes get reverted really soon. That's all I can say. And that the devs take this whole ordeal as a lesson moving forward to maybe involve the playerbase a bit more when it comes to radical changed they have planned.
I get that as developers, the showrunners so to speak, want to entertain us and bring surprise and wonder to our minds with the unknown, but when those surprises backfire in that goal and nothing is said or done about it, it would real help if they just communicated more.
I also hope there are plenty of bigger content creators who might throw in with us about these changes and be noticed so they can bring the concerns further to light.
