Can we just end ALL demolishion pauses forever?

What if instead of pausing the timer, they extended the remainder on the timer by multiplying that. If your timer had 6 days remaining, this becomes 12, if it had 30, that becomes 60. This way the timers still go on and can remove the houses of truly inactive players, while those who were active, but are affected by any event do get extra time. And this doesnt even always have to be like x2, it could be even a x3, and sometimes be combined with a fixed value of days being added.

The most backhanded way of an OP saying they want a house so bad. Must be a character in real life and never have an act-of-god problem ever occur.

You don't have to maintain a constant sub to own a house. One month subbed, 6 weeks unsubbed in rotation - you won't lose your house as long as you remember to enter your house just before your sub ends and right when you reactive it.

Also, the game always has content, Just because you're not interested in doing that content doesn't mean that content doesn't exist.

He was not lying. For it to be a lie, he would have had to make the statement in bad faith knowing the development team already had plans to add demolition. They didn't at that time. Demolition was only something they began to consider later when the wards filled up and no more players were able to get a house.

Development plans are never set in stone. They are always subject to change.

Now if you want to call it an example of bad planning when there were other games on the market that demonstrated the problems of a fixed location housing system like wards compared to instanced housing, that I could agree with it. I think it's an even bigger example of bad decision making since it's been clear the ward system is a big problem for the game ever since they got forced into adding demolition and yet they won't do anything to fix it.

That arguement gets old, if I am not interested in the content the means there is no content for me. As far as this whole demolition system goes, I just should not have to do any of what you said to keep a house.

That is not my problem, I am a consumer so when I am told a demolition system won't be implemented I expect it not to be implemented. You can say it is bad planning or what ever excuse for the devs but in the end it is still a bold face lie to the consumer. Again there are plenty of other ways to fix this system outside of demolition. It is not my job to figure that out.

Plus, that was a promise made in like, 2013..... If you joined in 2019 or 2020, you weren't lied to.
