Yoshida telling players to go play other games is very damaging to FFXIV

Ion HazExcuses tells players a lot of different things. Barely any of them turn out to be true.

The housing excuse vs casual gameplay is not really valid;

Originally housing was not meant to be for individual players but for FCs, so if a specific player wasn't on, as long as someone else was the house is fine. The only reason we have personal housing is because the devs caved to player wishes.

So, yes, while that is on the devs, the player base has to accept responsibility for this. We wanted this, so we have to accept the consequences, even if the devs are ultimately at fault for what I'd say was a bad call.

So when people start dying from deep vein thrombosis and blood clots left and right because they had to sit there and do nothing but play the game.

It'll be WoW further sued and not FFXIV.

how its relevant? didnt 1.0 hav elimiton how much exp you can get or something? what was in the past stay there. as of now you need to pay for a house its not free.

Heh, they want you to play so badly that the game literally punishes you for not playing by being behind on timegated stuff and having to wait until they add catch up mechanics while even the catch up mechanics are timegated. Nah man, enjoy that you can take a week off from FFXIV be it for work or vacation, come back and still be competitive.

ITT another living testament that over the last 15 years, Blizzard engineered so called "lifers" via predatory game design that are now incapable to play video game normally and need to have their life defined by one specific game somehow.

There are a bajillions games out there, I just can't fathom these people when they say they've been playing WoW for 15 years and nothing else.
